Through the veil of rain, Elektra spotted a faint light flickering in the distance. A cabin, its wooden structure barely visible in the dark. Relief washed over her, and she redirected her path towards the shelter. The cabin was old, weathered, and looked abandoned, but it would have to do. With a grunt of effort, she managed to push open the cabin door and drag Victor inside. The interior was simple, a single room with a fireplace, a table, and a few chairs. It was dry and relatively warm, starkly contrasting the storm raging outside.

She lowered Victor onto an old, creaky bed and quickly searched the cabin for supplies

She lowered Victor onto an old, creaky bed and quickly searched the cabin for supplies. Her hands trembled as she found a bottle of whiskey, some antiseptic liquid, and a few rags. It wasn't much, but it would have to do. Elektra turned back to Victor lying on the bed, his chest rising and falling with laboured breaths. His eyes were closed, his face contorted in pain. She couldn't help but feel a pang of fear as she approached him, memories of their previous violent encounters flashing through her mind.

Steeling herself, Elektra soaked a rag in the antiseptic mixture and leaned over Victor. Her hands shook as she dabbed the rag on one of his wounds, trying to ignore the fear gnawing at her insides.

Victor's eyes shot open, and his hand shot out, gripping her wrist surprisingly enough for it to break a bone or two. Elektra let out a yelp, her whole body tensing up. She met his gaze, her heart pounding in her chest as she saw a wild, confused look in his eyes.

"Where am I?" Victor demanded, his voice a low growl. "How did you find this place?"

Elektra took a deep breath, trying to calm herself.

"You collapsed after you... never mind," she spoke softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'm just trying to help clean your wounds. You're hurt."

Victor's eyes narrowed, his grip on her wrist tightening momentarily before he released his hold on her. As he looked at the cabin, he removed his trenchcoat and the neckline of his jumpsuit wincing as he moved. He pulled it off, revealing the extent of his injuries—three deep, bloody gashes across his chest, along with numerous scratches and bite marks. Elektra bit her lip, her fear momentarily overshadowed by concern.
