The dawn light filtered through the cracks in the cabin's walls. Elektra woke up slowly, feeling the soft texture of the bed beneath her and the solid warmth of Victor's body beside her, his arm draped possessively over her. She was bruised and sore from the previous night, her body aching with the remnants of their passionate encounter. Her heart pounded as she realised the opportunity before her.

Victor was still deeply asleep, the sedatives she had mixed into his whiskey having taken effect.

Elektra's breath hitched as she carefully disentangled herself from Victor's grasp, his muscular arm heavy and unyielding. She moved slowly, every movement deliberate, to avoid waking him. She couldn't afford a single misstep as she tiptoed across the room, gathering her dress. She glanced back at Victor's slumbering form, noting the peacefulness of his expression—a stark contrast to the fierce intensity he had displayed hours before.

As she dressed, Elektra's eyes fell on the cloth she had used to clean Victor's wounds. It was soaked with his blood, the dark stains stark against the fabric. An idea began to form in her mind—a way to mask her scent and evade detection. She picked up the cloth, wincing at the sticky, drying blood, and began to rub it over her skin. The strong, feral scent of Victor would overpower her own, making it harder for him or anyone else to track her.

She shivered as the cold, damp cloth touched her skin, the smell overwhelming and nauseating

She shivered as the cold, damp cloth touched her skin, the smell overwhelming and nauseating. But she continued, knowing that this grim tactic could be her best chance at escape. She made sure to cover every inch of her body, ensuring no trace of her scent would linger.

Once she was certain she was covered in Victor's scent, Elektra steeled herself for the next step. She moved silently through the cabin, her movement careful and deliberate. She winced as the wooden floor creaked under her weight, each sound amplified in the stillness. Her heart raced as she reached the door, glancing back one last time at Victor to make sure he was still asleep.

Taking a deep breath, she slowly opened the door, the hinges groaning slightly. She slipped outside into the crisp morning air, closing the door gently behind her. She had to move quickly but quietly, putting as much distance between herself and the cabin as possible before Victor woke up.
