April 8
4:00 p.m.
I jolted up. My body is drenched in sweat. The clothing is sticking to my body. My vision is blurry, i can't see anything. I rubbed my eyes to get a clearer vision. My vision got clearer as I realized where I'm at. I'm at the hospital. I looked down at myself, I'm wearing a hospital gown. I shifted a little and felt a sharp pain in my chest. I rosed my gown up to see a gauze wrapped around my chest. The blood was dry and old. I touched my chest, I felt a hole. It's a bullet wound. I picked up the remote that was attached to the bed and pressed the call button for the nurse. It ding but nobody came. I pressed it again.
"Nurse?" I heard my dry raspy voice.
I looked over at the table to see a glass of water. I took it and immediately chugged it down. My throat felt moist.
"Nurse?"
Nobody is responding back. I flung the cover off me. I slowly eased out of the bed. Every time i move, it hurts so bad. I grabbed the IV pole for strength. I carefully walked towards the door with the pole in my hand. I opened the door to darkness. What the hell? I can't see anything. I turned around. I need to look for a flashlight. I looked through the drawers. There's only extra blankets and a bible. Where are my clothes? My phone? I walked around the room. My clothes have to be here somewhere. I opened the closet door. My clean clothes were hung up. I quickly grabbed them and put them on. As i put on my shoes, i noticed a duffle bag on the floor. I grabbed it and unzipped it.
There was money, clothes, a gun, and a flashlight. I grabbed the flashlight and turned it on. I zipped the bag back up and placed it over my shoulder. I exited out of the room. As i shined the light, everything looked a mess. There's paper & trash all over the floor and desk. I walked towards the desk. I picked up the phone, no line. I rambled through the drawers, nothing. What the hell happened here? I continue walking. The elevator wasn't working either. How am i supposed to get out of here? The stairs! I walked around some more to find the stairs. I finally found the door that leads to the stairs. As I opened the door, it was pitch black. I left the IV pole at the door. I carefully held onto the wall as i walked down the stairs. As i walked down the stairs, a sour smell appeared.
The further i walked, the more intense the smell got. I scrunched up my nose. God, it's awful. I took the last step down before my feet felt the floor. But the floor felt sticky. I shined the light downwards to see a dead body surrounded by blood. I gasped and dropped the flashlight. Where did a dead body come from? I picked up the flashlight. I stepped over the dead body. I opened the door to see a bright light. The sun. I'm at the back of the hospital. I slowly walked around the hospital to the front. Oh My! There's trash everywhere. There's not a car in sight.
I continued walking to the street. Where is everybody? It's like a ghost town. I held onto the bag that was on my shoulder. As i looked around, I'm looking out for a human being. How long was i out? What happened? How come i can't remember anything? I paused for a minute as i reached the stop sign. The buildings looked wrecked and destroyed. Glass & more trash on the sidewalks. There's dried blood in certain areas. I made my way towards the sidewalk. Paisley Park is miles from here. I won't make it on foot. I'm most definitely is not going to The Jackson's Residence. Oh wait, Glam Slam isn't too far from here.
Walking a few more miles with a bloody bullet wound on my chest. I finally made it to Paisley Park. I held onto the door as i dropped the bag on the ground. I turned the knob, its locked.
"Shit!"
I don't have the key with me. Only Uncle Tony & Prince has the keys. I looked around the sidewalk for anything hard & sharp. I found a metal pole on the ground. I picked it up & wack the door knob off. I dropped the pole as the sharp pain hit me.
