This one is dedicated to my best friend in Pennsylvania. Romeo has always been there since I was 12 or 13 may be sooner than that. He knew long before anyone else that I was more than willing to accept being into girls. We still bicker like any other friendships but as any other friendship, I am over protective and get jealous quite easily. Romeo is more than just my best friend and everyone knows it. I would do anything to protect him even to this day in the middle of their midst of changes to come. I have watched him go through so much that if I could I would be there in an instant.
I will put this simple: I love my Romeo with my heart and soul that if I didn't live so far away I would have been there when I turned 18.
Romeo has seen my poems, stories, and heartache that we know one another's stories by heart. He is my light at the end of the day, no matter the distance. He is my biggest support through it all. When I finally told him that I was lesbian and open about it, he told me that no matter if I was straight, bisexual and now lesbian that we will always be best friends. That is the truth that anyone has ever told me besides one of my other best friends which you all will know about soon enough.
If it weren't for Romeo, I would have ended myself because I couldn't get myself out like I wanted. My darkest days, he was right there and always will be. That is a best friend.
With that being said if you need someone to support you on coming out, Romeo is perfect for it. He is so acceptable that he will take you under his wing.
Romeo, I love you and I am so grateful for our long living friendship. You are the best!
