A Monsters Baby

Short ch 26

Donny's pov

They guy from the bathroom helps me sit down on the bench.  "Hold on.  I'll call an ambulance!"  I nod feeling excruciating pain in my legs.  The ambulance gets here in 6 minutes and carries me off.

Once they got me in a room there was a silence in the air for a second before it went to panic.  "Doctor how are we going to do the?"  "It's going to have to be a cesarean delivery.  Nurse go get the anesthesia.  Alright sir take deep breaths."

I do as the doctor says as the nurse comes in.  They put the mask on me and it all goes dark.  When I opened my eyes again I felt dizzy.  Although I didn't exactly remember who I was at the moment there was one thing on my mind.

"Where's my baby...?" I said quietly.  "Don't worry Mr. Frantez the birth went smoothly.  Your baby is safe and sound right by you." The doctor says.  I look to left and right and finally see them.  My baby...

I looked at them for a while before smiling and going back to sleep.  I woke up again and saw I was home in my room.  It was now midnight and I was with my baby, who was laying on my stomach.  I couldn't help but cry and hold them in my arms.

Knowing I was a father now made me feel so emotional.  My roommates heard me and ran in my room and ran up to me.  "Oh Donny are you okay?" Diana asks in a panic.

I nod while smiling feeling my baby wiggle a bit.  Diana and Vineca smiled back at me and sat at my side.  "So what're you going to name them?" Vineca asks.

I look at her then my baby.  "I think...Mateo...yeah his name will be Mateo."  I say my eyes still on my baby.  "Sounds beautiful...Mateo Frantez...mh" Diana says.  "Can I hold them?" Diana asks.

"Uh sure..."I say hesitantly but when she reaches out for them I kinda push back.  She looked at me confused but knowingly and puts her hands on her lap.  "Sorry..." "Don't worry about it.  It's normal for a Demon mother to be protective of their babies."

I just nod and finally to get up.  "I feel hungry.  We should get something to eat." "Good idea I'll order something."  Vineca said.  We all went down stairs with Diana helping me and me carrying my baby.

She sits me down and goes to my side to sit.  Vineca's on the phone calling a pizza place while me and Diana put on a show on the TV and just relax.

"Oh did you guys get all the stuff that we needed." I asked.  Diana and Vineca scrunched up their faces.  "No..." "We kinda forgot them after hearing you were going into labor." "Oh...then I guess we'll need to get them tomorrow huh."

We all chuckle and lay back waiting for the pizza to arrive.  We soon got to eat and went to sleep.  Me not knowing I had over +4000 missed calls from a certain 5 people, but I won't answer those until morning.
