"So we are going to run some test. You know the usual things. Is that ok with you?" The nurse says as she prepares the needles and cup.

"Yes that's fine."

"Any concerns?" She smiles at me.

"No not really just you know need to make sure things are on the up and up"

"I totally understand. Life comes at you fast. Take this in there so we can collect a sample." She handed me the pee cup.

I went and did what I needed and came back in the room handing her the cup.

"Girl I keep looking at you and I know you come here on your normal check up but you look really familiar outside of that." She said as she wrapped the rubber strip around my arm to take my blood.

"We may have seen each other in passing."

"Hmm maybe. Give me a second and I'll be right back with your exit forms" she let out after she was done.

I sat in the room saying a silent prayer that I come back clean. Again not to say he gave me anything but Kash has been on my ass over the last few weeks about this. So to satisfy her and myself a little I made an appointment.

"You're the girl who damn near kissed Chris Brown! Omg." The nurse came back in. "Sorry but I knew I saw you somewhere. How was it? What did he smell like? Did he try anything?"

I laughed a little more awkwardly than humorously.

"It was a fun experience. He was so nice and attentive. I encourage everyone to try and get the meet and greet if they can. He smelled great."

"That's so cool. Sorry for my unprofessional behavior but wow that's amazing. You definitely won the meet and greet pics. He reposted it a few times too. Anyway here's your papers. We should be calling you in a few days with your results. Take care."

I left out the office and got into my car. Over the last couple of weeks people have been coming up to me everywhere I go because of those damn pics. It doesn't help that he actually posted it on his page and not on his story. Thankfully he didn't tag me. I am always grateful for the opportunity but never would I have thought this would be the aftermath of it.

A few days later

"Hello can I speak to Ms Kitri Sanders?"

"This is she. Who's calling"

"This is your nurse Sandra from St. Pete's family medical. I'm calling about your results." She said.

"Oh hi. How are you?"

"Great thanks for asking. Are you ready?"

"Yes" I said anxiously.

"Well everything came back negative expect your blood cells seemed a bit high and after evaluating further we found the problem." She said making me raise an eyebrow. "I'd like to congratulate you on your pregnancy"

"Pregnancy??? Are y'all sure? Can you check again?"

"Ma'am the blood doesn't lie. Congratulations. You can call the make an appointment for your ultrasound with your obgyn. Have a great day"

"Thanks" I hung up and slammed the phone down. This can't be right. I got up and left out my office heading to the CVS across the parking lot. I grabbed every test I could and went back to the office to inform them I wasn't feeling well and needed to go home.

I went straight to the bathroom and took all the test.

Positive.
