"I'm sick of walking" I briefly stopped in the middle of the mall while Kash and Jay walked ahead of me.

"Girl you just lazy" our cousin Jay said.

"Excuse the hell outta me I'm only carrying this belly around with me. This shit annoying" I rubbed my belly. I was 6 months now and it was taking a toll on me.

"Aww sis we can stop the food court is right there"

I got excited because I was hungry even though I was eating a pretzel already.

"I bet that put some pep in her step"

"Leave her alone" Kash laughed as I passed them making my way to the line of Master wok.

"Ki?" I heard. I turned around meeting the face of Killa. I haven't seen him since that day and I've avoided all his calls and text successfully. "You're um why you ain't tell me" I assumed he thought this was his.

"I didn't need to" I said as I started to order.

"You carrying my kid and you didn't need to tell me. That's crazy"

"Can we not"

"You foul for that" he spat.

"Killa chill there's a reason she didn't tell you" Kash came to my rescue once again.

"Tf you mean it's a reason"

"It's not yours"

"What?"

"Can we go y'all?" I got my food walking by him like he wasn't there.

This was getting hard. I keep getting asked who is the dad and why wasn't he around. Even my parents had tons of questions. There's only so much lying I could do. There is no way in hell I was telling people who the dad really was. I just couldn't.

"That man is crazy. He looked like he wanted to cry and hit you at the same time." Jay said as she got in the car.

"Man Killa may look crazy but he ain't that crazy. Might yell a little bit but he'd never do that" I felt the need to defend him because he really wasn't that crazy.

"Why didn't you just lie and say it was his?" She asked. She didn't even know who the dad was.

"Because giving how those other ki-"

I cut Kash off. "That wouldn't be right"

"How those other kids? You having a baby for a man who already got other kids?"

"Anyway at first I told her to just tell him it was his but she said the same thing and there's things that you can't HIDE forever" Kash said looking at me in the rear view.

"I don't understand why I can't know who the dad is. We are practically sisters. You can tell me" Jay said pressing the issue. I noticed we pulled up to the house.

"You talk too much"

"No I don't. Half the shit I be talking about don't nobody care about" she said sitting on the couch. I looked at Kash who just shrugged her shoulders.

"If I tell you you have to promise with your life you won't say nothing to anybody. Only Kash and I know so if it gets out I'll know it was you"

She agreed and I took a deep breath.

"It's Chris'"

"Who is Chris?" she asked and I looked at her like think bitch. "No you're lying! When did you- how did you- girlllll"

"Calm down"

"Does he know? He doesn't seem like the type to abandon his kids"

"No he doesn't know" I said putting my head down.
