Fine by Me

I sat in the mirror trying to figure out if I wanted to even go down there. I wasn't in the mood nor did I even want to do this but to satisfy everyone here I am.

"You got all these people here waiting on you. Girl you got to get up" I said to myself. I took a deep breathe and got up and finally put my outfit.

"Damn you ain't even got the damn outfit on. What are you waiting on?" Kash said busting into the door.

"You know I don't want to do this."

"But you are and the guest are already here" she said helping me out.

"What if he comes? How am I supposed to explain that?"

"Well that I can't answer but they were very confused when I added on the invite there will be a NDA at the door that will need to be signed." Kash said. "You know just in case"

"I don't think he's even coming. After I hung up on him the other day he hasn't said much"

"The nerve of him to blame their break up on you. Like dawg you knew you had a pet before any of this happened. It was bound to happen anyway. She's crazy to have stayed the first time"

"Yeah but I mean the heart wants who it wants" I shrugged.

"What do you want? Now be honest with me sis"

"I don't know. I told you that. There's absolutely no way I'm putting myself out there like that. He doesn't know how to be faithful. He's living every man's dream and I am not the one"

"Or the two! I think maybe you should try it though. You never know. Different people get different people." She said.

"No thank you"

"I would never tell you to go into something that I feel like wouldn't be good for you." I looked at her sideways.

"Why are you so TeamChris all of a sudden?"

"I'm not but something tells me you could be the one who changes him."

"Chile anyway. I'm ready to go down I guess"

The door opened.

"Wow you look amazing" HE said.

"You came and you follow directions well maybe you aren't as slow as I thought you were" Kash said to him making me realize we were matching. They've been communicating with each other.

"Kashlyn you ain't slick" I rolled my eyes.

"What I do?"

"You and your bestie here been talking."

"Yeah Jay here I come! Got to go"

"Nobody called you" I yelled.

"Hey" he said.

"Hi"

"You thought I wasn't going to show up?"

"I haven't really thought about it."

"Ok so this how this is going to go. You're going to get rid of that attitude, we are going to go down there, have a good time as well as explain this to your family. My guys are already down there mingling. They created a distraction while Jay led me through the back. When it's over we will talk. Let's just have a good day!" He said and even though I wanted to protest it kind of turned me on for him to be so aggressive. Girl calm down I had to squeeze my legs together.

"Okay" I was able to say.

"Look at us in the mirror." He stood behind me and placed his hand on my belly and his head in the crook of my neck. "We look good huh"
