I read the messages over and over. I was in shock that he even reached out to me in the first place but I couldn't interact. I wouldn't interact. I ignored the messages and got out the bed to start my day.

I looked over at Chris who was still sleeping. He looked so at peace and content. I decided to leave him that way because he has been working so hard lately and I knew he needed his rest.

Once I was ready I went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. It's been a while since I cooked so I went all out. Don't get it fucked up KiKi gets busy in the kitchen. I made a huge spread because the mothers were coming over with the kids this morning so they can go on about their lives doing whatever it is they do. Those ladies have become the best of friends and I am honestly here for it.

"Mama Ki!!" I heard coming from the other end of the house followed with small footsteps.

"In the kitchen" I yelled back. "Hey my babies"

All four kids which included my little cousin Yanna ran and almost knocked me over as their bodies collided with mine.

"We missed you" they said in unison.

"I missed yall too" I took the time to give them each their own attention.

"Hey mamas" I spoke to the mothers who each held a sleeping baby.

"Hey girl" my mama said kissing my cheek.

"Hey baby" mama j said giving me the same energy.

"How was it?" I asked them.

"Chile please they were a handful but nothing we couldn't handle" my mom said.

"Meme said she was counting down the hours to send us back" Ro said.

"I was" she spoke making me laugh.

"Yall hungry?"

"Yes!"

"Ok go wash your hands and come back and we can eat" they ran off and I took the babies and put them in their seats since they had woken up. Cutting up pieces of food I placed it on the trays. Zion wasted no time going to work but Zin was still a little hesitant about solid foods but I like to offer it just in case she had a change of heart.

After getting the littles set up I went back to talk to the mothers.

"So how are you?" Joyce asked me as she started to eat.

"I am ok. We've been keeping busy and staying out the way there's not much more we can do"

"What did she say?" My mom asked me.

"She was just aggressive as hell. I bumped her and apologized she just goes off like yeah you should be and I tried to stay calm then she says was I going to beat her like Chris does and it pissed me off so much because girl you don't even know him and you're not about to talk about my man and think I wouldn't step"

"So she earned that ass whooping but next time try to walk away. Please we need you here and not behind bars" Joyce said caressing my hand. I nodded.

"Why you didn't wake me?" Chris came in giving everyone a kiss on the cheek.

"You looked tired."

"I was but I would've gotten up"

"You needed your rest. There's nothing on the schedule so I let you sleep in. Let me fix your plate" I started to get up but he stopped me.
