AFTER THE CATACLYSMIC EVENTS in New York, Elina returned to Washington, eager to reclaim some semblance of normalcy as a regular S.H.I.E.L.D. agent. The chaos and destruction she had witnessed left her yearning for the quiet, routine days she once took for granted. All she wanted was to slip back into the familiar rhythm of missions and reports, to forget the horrors of the past and rebuild a life that felt stable and safe.
But normalcy proved to be an elusive dream. The assassination of her director, a man she respected deeply, shook her to the core. The subsequent infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D., the very organization she had dedicated her life to, left her reeling. The sense of betrayal, the fear that the enemy was closer than she had ever imagined, was a wound that refused to heal. It seemed that every time she found her footing, something new would come along to knock her down again.
Just as she began to think that the worst was behind her, an old face from her past emerged from the shadows. The sight of them was like a punch to the gut, a reminder of everything she had tried to leave behind. Deep down, Elina knew that this was only the beginning. The reappearance of this ghost from her past signaled a storm on the horizon, one that would make everything she had endured so far look like a calm before the tempest. She braced herself, knowing that her world was about to be turned upside down once more.

Like I said before, I like writing the more original scenes when doing a movie volume. I will of course be writing movie scenes, but if you're reading some of the chapters and confused why there are scenes from the movie removed, it's because I can't/struggle to find ways to make my original characters have an impact in those scenes.
