POV: Celestia Kaslav~~v^v~~
"The firs' years prafessor McGonagall." The gamekeeper said calmly to the witch.
"Thank you Hagrid." She said calmly, leading all the first years into an empty corner.
"Welcome to Hogwarts. The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rule-breaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the House Cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours." The old witch by the name of Professor McGonagall said in a calm voice.
"I will return when we are ready for you. Please wait quietly." She said before she left the corridor.
Everyone started talking to one another, then a boy with dirt brown hair, and dull brown eyes walked up to my group. He walked right past me, bumping into me, not saying a word about it, and walked up to Harry.
"Johnathan Longbottom. You shouldn't associate yourself with the wrong lot. If you become my friend I'll show you the right kind of people to associate with." He said in an arrogant cocky voice I'd expect to hear from a Malfoy. His hand held out as if he was expecting Harry to accept.
"Hey you just ran into Tia, you should apologize to her." Harry said softly.
"Why would I apologize to her? It was her fault, she was in the way. Now come on, shake my bloody hand." He said in that same arrogant voice, annoyance rising into his tone.
"No... I think I'll stay with my friends..." Harry said softly, walking over to me. And he asked if I was okay. I let out a soft chuckle.
"I'm fine, Harry. He just bumped into me." I said softly, smiling at him, and he softly laughed to himself. Johnathan looked annoyed, and he stormed off.
McGonagall walked back into the corridor and we were then led into the great hall. All the students awed at the ceiling of the hall. Once again before Granger could spout anything I butt in.
"The ceiling isn't really the night sky, it's merely charmed to look as such, my godfather told me, it's quite brilliant." I say calmly, looking up at the ceiling as I walk, Harry on my left and Draco on my right, the rest of the group behind us.
We stop in front of a simple four legged wooden stool, with an old hat resting on it. The folds shifted and transformed into a mouth and two eyes and it started to sing:
"Oh you may not think I'm pretty,
But don't judge on what you see,
I'll eat myself if you can find
A smarter hat than me.You can keep your bowlers black,
Your top hats sleek and tall,
For I'm the Hogwarts Sorting Hat
And I can cap them all. There's nothing hidden in your head
The Sorting Hat can't see,
So try me on and I will tell you
Where you ought to be.You might belong in Gryffindor,
Where dwell the brave at heart,
Their daring, nerve, and chivalry
Set Gryffindors apart; You might belong in Hufflepuff,
Where they are just and loyal,
Those patient Hufflepuffs are true
And unafraid of toil;Or yet in wise old Ravenclaw,
if you've a ready mind,
Where those of wit and learning,
Will always find their kind;Or perhaps in Slytherin
You'll make your real friends,
Those cunning folks use any means
To achieve their ends.So put me on! Don't be afraid!
And don't get in a flap!
You're in safe hands (though I have none)
For I'm a Thinking Cap!"
