POV: Celestia Riddle

~~v^v~~

I jolted up, screaming. A throbbing pain in my chest. I feel my throat constricting as my breathing speeds up. Tears running down my pale cheeks. My roommate seemed none the wiser, their curtains still closed shut, though my screams. I look down at my shirt, and I see blood staining the soft light blue fabric. I pulled my shirt off my body to see the tendral-like lightning scars that covered my upper torso, were bleeding, like they were freshly made, and not 10-year-old scars.

But then, they suddenly healed, turning back to mere scars. The throbbing pain slowly ceased. My throat started to open back up, and my breathing slowed back down. The Familiar feeling emerged back up my body like it did when I looked at Professor Quirrell. A feeling of safety. A feeling that's telling me everything will be alright.

Then. I woke up.

My shirt still on, and not bloodied, my hair still in the neat braid Daphne tied it in last night. Yet, I was doused in sweat. I cast a quick tempus, and saw it was 5:49 am. No one else was awake yet. I grabbed my wand off my desk, and I used it to open my curtains, and quickly make my bed. I grabbed my school robes and walked into the bathroom. I took a quick shower, dried my hair with spell, and got dressed in the uniform. It was 6:33 by the time I exited the bathroom and the others were starting to awake. I had yet to do my hair, because I wanted Daphne to do my hair.

"Why are you up so early...?" Pansy grumbled groggily sitting up in her bed after opening her curtains with her wand. The other two are doing the same.

"What time is it...?" Tracey groaned, getting up off her bed.

"Just about 6:40. And I had a nightmare." I said calmly, as I walked over to my desk, picked my bag up, went over to my trunk, opened it with my wand, and sat in front of it and began emptying my bag of almost all the unnecessary books (ie. all the books that weren't textbooks).

"Oh no! Are you okay, Tia?" Daphne asked calmly, her tiredness still evident in her voice.

"I'm fine, Daphne. Oh and could you please do my hair when you're done getting ready, if you don't mind?" I ask softly, organize my bag. I have my textbooks, five vials of Arcturus and Cephei's respective antivenom each (hey! You never know!), my cauldron, crystal vials, my telescope, my brass scales, a folder of loose parchment, a notebook, a few quills, a few books to read during free blocks, two extra hair ribbons, and my communications mirror.

"Oh of course, I'd love to!" She said sweetly, as she and the other two girls walk into the bathroom to get ready.

I close my bag, slinging it over my torso, getting up and walking over to my bed, and shaking Cephei awake.

§Wake up, sssleeepyhead. We're going to breakfast sssoon.§ i hiss calmly.

§Nooooo... Ccccephei sssleep more, Hatchling.§ the long white snake with pale blue eyes hissed.

§You can sssleep under my robesss. But don't you want breakfast?§ I hissed. The snake just slithered up my sleeve , wrapping around my torso, her head just peeking out from the hem of my shirt, resting on my shoulder, her eyes closed. I merely let out a soft chuckle.

Once the three other girls got out of the bathroom, Daphne tied my snow white hair into dutch braids, with dark green ribbons on the end, that was then tied up into two buns. We walked down to the common room to join the rest of the group for breakfast. The prefects weren't yet there, and the older Slytherin's were still in their dorms, so it was only the first years. And a random girl walked up to Harry, who I was talking to.

"You shouldn't be here, you know." She sneered arrogantly at the confused looking boy, who's expression turned slightly ashamed and guilty though he did nothing wrong.
