As the airplane landed at the airport the passengers started to get down including me. Hindi Naman masyadong mabigat Ang Dala ko I only had backpack a suitcase and a sling bag containing my phone and a wallet.
I was quietly waiting on Lola when a girl in my age approach me. She has this messy curly hair na lagpas sa shoulders Niya.
She's a little chubby too, she has this white skin Chinky eyes and cute nose and pinky lips. She's cute!
"Hi! Ikaw si Marie diba?" she talked to me all smile and her eyes disappeared. I also smile at her friendly Naman Ako eh I'm not that bad bitch girl. I hate that kind of girl kaya.
"Yes why?" I was shocked when she suddenly hug me And cling her arms around mine.
Nakakagulat namon to masyadong friendly.
" Ako Pala si Angie trabahante ng Lola mo, Tara na naghihintay na Lola mo sa'yo" she happily said so to me as she help me carry my luggage .
"Lola Lita nandito na po Yung apo niyo!" Angie shouted as we're heading towards Lola.
I was just six years old when i met Lola Lita when she visited us in manila and she was in her 40's that time I guess and now I think she's in her late 50's na some sign of aging are visible na sa kanyang mukha but still Lola is pretty like Mommy and me.
"Apo Ang laki-laki muna " Lola said as she hug me I only smile at her.
" Dati naglalaro ka pa ng manila mo Ngayon Ikaw na Yung manika " Lola looked at me from head to toe na TILA namamangha parin sa akin.
I can't blame her either I have porcelain skin that can caught everyone's attention a jet black wavy hair na lagpas balikat, I thick eyebrows and long lashes pointed nose that has a mole in the center of it and apink pouty lips .
" Nagmana po Ako sa inyo Lola " kaya sabay na lang kaming natawa.
" Oh Siya...Tara na at nag makapagpahinga na tayo" Lola said as she glance at me and Gie-gie.
" Where's our car po Lola?" I asked
" Nandoon pa sa dulo malapit lang Yun" Lola said as we continued walking.
"oh Ondo Dali na large na ta Kay mauli na" Lola talked to the man that looked like a driver. What's that dialect? I can't understand it, bet it's ilonggo I heard Mommy sometimes talking ilonggo through the phone pero Hindi ko namn naiintindihan.
Now I wonder how could I communicate with this people when I can't understand what are they talking about?!
"Ahh...Lola are we on a wrong car?" I asked when we suddenly approach a jeep.Lola smiled at me when she saw the confusion in my face.
" Hindi apo na sa tamang sasakyan tayo....nirentahan ko lang ito Wala Naman Akong sasakyan ehh pero wag Kang mag alala Jan ka pu-pwesto sa front seat "
I wanted to cry or ...to laugh at my situation right now like is this the beginning of my punishment why is it so early .
I can't do anything kundi Ang sumakay nalang sa front seat ng jeep . I can't complain Naman to Lola like I always do at home with Mom and Dad. Baka isipin pa nila na sobrang Arte ko.
We spent 5 hours of traveling from Davao's airport to Malapag Lola and Mom's birthplace. In fairness I'm comfortable Naman here sa front seat pero mas okay sana if we used a car a closed one.
Aqnd my hair is kinda frizzy right now because of the air and I feel so malagkit na if we get there I should take a shower before taking a rest.
But I was surprised when Lola Lita said na we will walk pa before reaching her house like What the hell! I'm so tired na my legs are so mahina na I can feel it! But who am I to complain right? Mom said I should behave here and don't give Lola headaches.
