Chapter 20

~May's POV~

I woke up next to Jensen. Last thing i remember was falling asleep on the couch while he worked out. I kiss his forehead and get up. I brush my teeth and take a shower. I quickly get dressed. I grab my purse and my keys. I left a little note, telling Jensen i had errands to run. I run to the car since it was raining. I went to pick up my new phone and went to the mall. I stayed in the car and opened my phone. I downloaded everything back and texted Jensen telling him i had a new phone. I had previously bought him a bottle of his favorite scotch, thru a friend. Sucks to be just 19. I knew all he had was whiskey. As long as he drank it with me i wouldn't mind. I bought him a few shirts and a new belt because he needed one. I also got him a red hoodie. I bought a few things for myself too. A new outfit for tomorrow. Hopefully he wanted to go out. I was looking for shoes for myself when i get a notification from instagram.

*Jared Padalecki has started to follow you"

I quickly open my phone and add him back. Not even a few seconds after i get a text.

Jared:" Hey May, sorry to bother you but, i was thinking about surprising Jensen tomorrow for his birthday, i was thinking to bring the whole family. Id like you to meet Shep and Tom...and i know you havent seen Gen in so long"

Me:" hiii Jared!! That sounds like an amazing idea. Im actually birthday shopping right now"

Jared:" ugh..perfect. We will actually thinking about arriving tonight.. is that okay?"

Me:" actually yea..i bought him his favorite bottle of scotch and maybe i can give it to him as an early present...he will share.."

Jared:" Arent you 19? Howd you- nop. Never mind not going to be part of a felony. Well we will be arriving around 7-8 at night. Thank you.."

Me:" No Problem. Cant wait!"

I shut off my phone and pick my shoes. On my way home, i seen a car stop in the middle of the road and drop 2 small animals. I honk the horn and they drive off quickly. It was raining and heavy. I park on the side where the other car went. When i opened the door all i heard were screams and cries. My heart dropped as a heard them. I looked around and saw a cat and a dog. Well a kitten and a dog. A quickly grabbed a blanket and took them both. I put them in the back seat. They were both crying and shaking. I almost cried at the sight. I went to the nearest road and bought small cans of kitten and puppy foods as well as another things they might need. As soon as i got home, i took the little animals and got them inside. Coming in dripping wet, i seen Jensen in the kitchen.

Jensen:" He- what the ...May."
Me:" Before you get mad at me. Some car stopped in the middle of the road and threw them. I needed to-"
Jensen:" come one..lets clean them up. "

I smiled. I took the shampoo out of the bag and went to his room. He took the puppy and i, the kitten. We cleaned them both. We dried them off and i gave the kitten to Jensen while i went to get some other things from the car. I got 2 little collars. They were big on the kitten but fit perfectly in the dog. They were both males. It was a orange cat and a grey dog. He looked like a pitbull but weren't sure. I bought paddings and a little gate to keep them in.

Jensen:" they are adorable.."
He said as he petted the cat.
Jensen:" Let me call him...Ben..Ben the cat"
Me:" im not calling him Ben.."
Jensen:" Bean?"
Me:" yea i like Bean.."
Jensen:" okay..you name the dog."
Me:" uhhhh Atlas."
Jensen:" i like Atlas..."
I smiled at him. I set up the padding and opened the gate in a circle. Putting the padding on the floor. I set up their food bowls and put them there. I took another shower while Jensen cooked. When i finished i went to the kitchen.
Me:" ready for tomorrow?"
Jensen:" No.."
Me:" awe why?"
Jensen:" just a reminder ill be 28 years older than you..."
Me:" oh shut up..its only for a month..."
He smiled and kissed me. I helped him around the kitchen. We sat and ate. It had stopped raining, so i got the stuff out my car. I out them in my room and finished his gift. I left it there tho. I went downstairs and saw Jensen playing with the animals. I smile and walk to the kitchen. I pull out my phone and start watching supernatural..I felt a big pair of hands grab my waist.
Jensen:" we have to take them to the vet."
Me:" i know..."
He turns me around and grabs my hand wrapping my hands around his neck, then grabbing my waist with his. He looks at me. I couldn't help but melt over those beautiful eyes. I cant believe who the man in front of me is. He made me feel things i thought id never feel again. He made me feel things that i shouldn't. He gave me a smile. A smile that made my legs want to give up.. I hug him. I hug him as tight as i can. He does the same back. I felt so safe..like no one can get me. Nothing else mattered. Everything was perfect..except that one little detail..that i might have a stalker. But..thats gone. Hopefully. He kisses my forehead and lets go. He cleans a few dishes.
