My phone has no signal

Max was a little confused when she woke up to pitch-black nothingness. She was no longer in the hospital, but there was no sign as to where she was. A phone box appeared in front of her, but all she heard on the other side was silence if she tried to make a call.
It was so quiet, you could almost hear it. Max never liked silence, especially after the Upside Down. If there was no noise, that meant something was near.
A single lightbulb on a chain hung above her head, flickering every few seconds. Within those few seconds, she could see it, far away and just at the edge of the light's reach. It didn't look like anything she recognized, but it carried the signs of being from the Upside Down.
That was enough to make her run
