Somewhere in the middle of LA, 12:00 AM...
Under the cover of a moonless sky at around midnight the camera shows an exquisite museum announcing the famed Zumpano Diamond was back on display. A canine figure wearing some sort of military grade stealth suit steals the camera's attention and is zoomed in on while entering the building via a window. This was not your typical ordinary thief, but a well known criminal known as The Midnight Bandit due to most of his crimes being pulled off at midnight. With the thief was a spider who was hacking into security. This was Ms. Tarantula aka: Webs, and she was also the Midnight Bandit's partner in crime.
But this story happens to put him in the shoes of the main protagonist. Ironic how not every story seems to stick to the stereotypical way of things...
A few moments earlier...
Sean's pov:
I was running along rooftops silently in a badass multipurpose stealth suit and upon arriving at my target location, all I needed to do was open the window pane just enough to slip inside and to avoid making any somewhat smart security guards suspicions I closed it to the original spot but would make that same window my escape route. I luckily had my own personal security system breaker, while I was dodging lasers left and right, my 8-legged living laptop Webs was turning off all the silent alarm sensors and deactivating cameras. I, of course had quietly knocked 8 guards out without being seen.
Sean: Nighty-night chumps...
(Webs sneaks her way to my location after leaving the security room)
Sean: Webs, you done?
Webs: I'm still trying to get use to these bigger heists we've been pulling off lately, but yeah all cameras are down, my rugged partner. Go bad?
Sean: Or go home.
*she fist pumps my finger*
Sean: (I turn to the audience) Now why would I be going to all this trouble for some jewel or something with a Tarantula as my only friend? Surely I could've just held up or snuck inside some pawn shop or jewelry store and get away with fair worthy necklaces and stuff right? Nah, I'm not an amateur. I'm hunting the rumored Zumpango Diamond. I may or may not be a big fan of big leagues, but there's one individual I do admire... I'm certain my idol will be here tonight trying to go after it, but I'm gonna be the first to outsmart the world's best thief!
Then I saw its display case and snatched it carefully. Thank goodness Webs knows everything about disabling security systems or I'd never get this far.
Sean: After 3 long years... The Zumpango Diamond, we finally have it-
Webs: We did it man! Now let's slip out of this place-
???: Step aside rookie~ hand the diamond over and I won't need to break your collarbone...
Sean: Huh? Who you calling rookie-
I turned and saw the famous Crimson Paw.
Sean: About time... If it isn't the famous Crimson Paw~ Been waiting to encounter the thief who already stole the diamond in the past for profits.
Webs: Big fan, but we got here first...
Crimson Paw: And I'm quite flattered knowing the infamous Midnight Bandit knows who I am.
Sean: Why would you think I'd just give it up so easily? Thieves like us are not necessarily the sharing types ya know?
Crimson Paw: You really think I'm bluffing? She cracked her knuckles.
*the Crimson Paw wasn't kidding*
Sean: (chuckling) You know what... I made it this far, so you can thank me later for doing all the hard work for you later... Besides, stealing jewelry ain't really my style~
