"So this room was an 'occasional meeting room'. Public functions of the West Coast Avengers, such as press conferences, are held in the east wing main ballroom, as is formal dining. Informal meetings are held in the west wing living room area. There is a library, which encompasses part of the second floor. The kitchen is also on this floor. On the same level as the main floor are the patio, sundeck, and an outdoor Olympic-size swimming pool." Nat explained to Sofia.
"Wow, this place is huge!" Sofia said with excitement in her voice. "I bet $10 I get lost here at least 3 times a week." She joked.
"I bet $20 you will get lost here at least 3 times a day." Natasha answered with a smirk. "And it's only the main floor, but I will show you the rest tomorrow. Now I will show you your room.
"After you."
"Thank you. You are such a gentlewoman Sofia." Nat teased Sofia and smirked. They went upstairs.
They were walking down the hall passing rooms of the other Avengers. As they passed Thor's room Nat spoke.
"Here is your room. Mine is there, on the right down the hall. You can look around. Somebody or something will bring your things, so don't worry."
"Something?"
"Yes, Tony has a lot of robots here. Don't tell me you didn't notice."
"I did."
"Yeah, sure..." Nat said with a smirk. "I have to do some paperwork, nothing interesting. Dinner will be at 8 pm. You can do whatever you want till that time."
"Thank you. See you later." Sofia said and entered her room.
It was empty and cold. She noticed that her bag was here. It was all she brought, some t-shirts, one pair of jeans, shorts, sneakers and of course some hygiene items. I think I need to go shopping. I will ask Nat or Wanda if they want to come with me. She thought. While the rest of the team was minding their own business, Sofia wandered around the compound.
After dinner Natasha was taking a shower. Her thoughts swirled in her head. She was thinking about Sofia, their past and 'what ifs'. It was an intense day for both of them. Sofia went to Nat's room and knocked.
"Wait! I'm coming!" She yelled. After a minute she opened the door with a robe on her and with wet hair. Speak of the devil. Nat thought. Sofia scanned her from head to toes. Wow, she looks gorgeous.
"Hi, sorry, I didn't want to disturb you. I just wanted to say thank you and goodnight."
"Oh it's okay, don't worry. 'Thank you' for what?"
"For showing me around and feeling comfortable."
"Oh don't mind it, you are a part of the team now and all of us already like you. Now, go to sleep, goodnight." She placed her hand on Sofia's cheek and smiled.
"Bye."
The next day
"Hi Wanda, hi Thor!" Sofia said as she entered the kitchen. They were making breakfast.
"Hi."
"Hello Lady Sofia." Thor welcomed her.
"Oh, I see we have a gentleman in the team. Thor, I appreciate it but please don't call me Lady." She laughed. "Sofia is enough."
"Oh, emm, okay, whatever you want."
"You are so cute when you're blushing, 'God of Thunder'." Wanda whispered to Thor and chuckled. He blushed even more.
