Chapter 15

Where am I?

What is this place?

Natasha was walking through the forest. It was dark, the moon was full. She saw a light in the distance.

A firefly?

She started to walk towards it, but the light started to move away. The more she walked, the more lights appeared. Finally the amount of the little lights was so big it created a big bowl of light that led her to the cave.

What is this? I don't like this.

She went to the cave. It was dark, nothing to see. Suddenly the torch on the wall lightened up. With every few steps new torches were lighting up, it looked like a long corridor. She reached the end of the path and she saw a pond. The water was clear but it was dark, she didn't know how deep it was. Natasha was thinking for some time what to do. She turned around, the torches began to go out, one by one.

I think I have no choice.

Natasha jumped to the pond. She saw a corridor underwater. She began to swim toward it. To her surprise she could see everything, it was light. She was swimming and swimming, without seeing the end. She started to panic, until she realised she could breathe underwater.

Oh, interesting.

After some time she reached the end of the corridor, she swam up and walked out of the cave. But when she did, she realised it's sunny... and she's at the mountain. All she was seeing was a waterfall. Suddenly an unknown force pushed her down. She was falling together with the waterfall. She hit the water with her back, lost orientation, couldn't see anything. Natasha was only feeling how water moves her body, how she hit rocks underwater, she was trying to protect her head but suddenly she felt strong pain in front of the top of her head. Everything went black.

Natasha was now laying on the sand. She woke up and looked around.

What the hell...

Her clothes were dry but when she lifted her head she felt extreme pain. She checked if there's blood - thankfully not. Nat stood up and realised she's on an island. There was only sand, sea and forest. She heard screaming. It was coming from the forest. And again. Someone was calling her name.

Sofia?

She ran to the woods, trying to locate where the sound was coming from. At first she was running fast, but then the forest started to grow thicker, there were a lot of bushes and sharp branches. Then she heard another scream, but from a different person. She was confused. Now she was hearing two different calls, from two different people, coming from two different directions. She couldn't quite recognize the second voice, so she decided to continue going towards the voice that was calling her "Natasha! Natasha!". But then she stopped, realising who was the second voice.

Yelena?!

She didn't know where to go. Who to save. She felt a strong pain in her head again, like someone was crushing her skull.

"Who are you going to save, Natalia?"

A male's voice echoed in her head. And again.

"Who are you going to save, Black Widow?"

Natasha closed her eyes, she was almost crawling on the ground from all the pain she was experiencing. In her head, her back, her arms and legs. Then she opened her eyes and she saw him. A man standing in front of her. They weren't in the forest anymore. It was an empty room. Black and red coloured room. She knew him.

"What happened to them, you bastard?!" She asked the man.

"Who are you talking about?" He asked.

"You know who I'm talking about! Sofia and Yelena, what did you do to them?" She wanted to punch him but she was kneeling, handcuffed to the ground.
