"Hi Wands." Yelena said when she saw Wanda opening the door.
"Hi, please come." The Witch greeted her and let her go to her home.
"Nice place." Yelena took a look around as she wandered inside.
"Thank you. Do you want some tea? Coffee? Vodka?" Wanda asked from the kitchen.
"Tea please." Her guest said and went to the salon. The whole house was pretty and new, in light colouristic with some wood decor. "You're living here alone?"
"Yeah, why?"
"Just asking." Yelena shrugged her shoulders, even if Wanda couldn't see it because she was still in the kitchen. The space was quite big for a one person. Wanda came to the salon and placed tea on the small table next to the sofa.
"Sit please." She gestured on the beige couch with some blue cushions on and they both sat. "Thank you for visiting. How are you doing?"
"Thank you for inviting me. I'm... quite good, but also tired . Times were busy recently." Yelena answered and took a sip of her tea. "And how are you? And this?" She asked and gestured on the house with her tea in hand.
"I'm good, yeah, I was quite busy too, but i needed some time for myself and some break from our last mission together... and other things." Wanda answered, swirling her tea in a mug and looking down, thinking about something. Yelena noticed that and nodded. "I decided that for at least some time I will live outside the compound."
"Didn't you think of renting a place instead of building it?" The blonde asked.
"I did think about that but after some calculations I decided that I would lost more money that way, besides later I can sell this house for some good money too. It's a nice area, people are visiting and leaving, for sure this house will catch someone's eye."
"Fair point. So you think you would like to come back to the team?"
"Well, technically I never left, but yes, sure."
"Oh cool, that's really cool." Yelena said vigorously.
"Why, do you miss me?" Wanda chuckled and drank her tea.
"Haha, of course not." Yelena said, but Wanda looked at her sceptical, knowing the answer already. "Okay, okay... maybe I do... a little bit." Yelena slurped her drink.
"Knew it." Wanda giggled. "And you, do you still live at the compound?"
"Well yes and no, as I said I had some stuff going on on my own, so sometimes I was staying there and sometimes not. I was on some missions with the Widows to help and save the others and on the other hand I was also looking for a place for myself. I clearly need a break too." She said with a strong russian accent.
"And how was it? The missions and the place? Did you find anything?" Wanda asked with interest.
"Well they went good actually, I can say that the majority of girls is safe now. There is still some places we have to check but I left that for other Widows to take care of for now. And the place... well I don't think I will stay in one for too long anyway, so I don't want anything too expensive. But as I was riding here I saw that this area is really nice, as you said, so maybe I will look for something here too."
"Oh I'm glad it's going well then, that truly means a lot to me." Wanda said with relief. She was thinking for a moment and then spoke. "You know, I have an idea."
"What idea?"
"Would you like to live with me?"
"What? Are you sure?" Yelena was a bit hesitant, but couldn't say she was unhappy about it.
