"Do we have anything?" Steve asked Natasha, who was controlling the drone. The team, Sofia, Yelena, Tony, Wanda, Maria and said two were in the jet, following the drone which was searching for a signal.
"Nothing." She answered.
"We searched half of the country already." Stark noticed.
"Relax Tony, it's a small country, give it a chance." Sofia said while chewing a snack and playing with her knife.
"How do you do this?" Wanda asked.
"Do what?"
"You're all so calm and relaxed and careless and unbothered by anything." The Witch said, almost losing her breath.
"Hahaha, oh dear." Sof laughed. "I have this thing called 'the skill of hiding my feelings'. That's all a masc, literally, because in reality I'm a walking ball of anxiety and PTSD." She answered, still chewing on her snack. Wanda shook her head in disbelief. "Did you bring the dust?" Sofia asked Yelena.
"Yes, I have it here." The blonde pointed to the chest she had nearby. Sofia nodded.
"How does it even work now?" Wanda asked.
"When the vial is opened or destroyed, the dust is set free and absorbed by your lungs or other mucosa. Then it goes to the blood and to the brain, works on the neurons and de-brainwash the user. It's pretty quick and effective." She answered. Wanda looked impressed.
"Wait, I have something." Natasha said, looking at the screen. Sofia almost choked and ran to her friend to see what's going on.
"It's this little dot here?" She asked. The rest of the team was looking at the data as well.
"Yeah."
"But... What does it show? I don't see anything around us." Yelena looked around.
"We're getting closer, maybe we'll see it soon."
After a minute the dot was pretty close to their location, but there was still nothing in sight.
"We're close, let's find a nice place to land and we'll investigate it." Tony said and walked away from the screens to prepare his suit.
"Guys..." Sofia said, with a slight sight of insecurity. "...I don't think we should land."
"Why not?" Natasha asked.
"Because we should go up."
At this moment everyone looked through the windows and the transparent ceiling. What they saw shocked them. An enormous, six-storeyed flying compound appeared above them among the clouds.
"What the hell is that?!" Sam yelled, shocked to the core.
"That is... the Red Room." Sofia answered with her eyes still glued to the object.
"Wait, you want to tell me that THIS went unnoticed for all this time?" Stark asked with disbelief.
"How are we gonna put this thing down?" Steve asked.
"How many people are there? We can't fight an army!" Wanda shouted.
"Our plan didn't predict anything like this!" Maria yelled. People started to panic and create chaos in the jet.
"SHUT UP!" All three Widows ordered, trying to break through the noise. Everyone went silent.
"I know it's a lot to process and think about but we can't panic. We have to calm down and think." Sofia said. "It won't be easy but we can make it, as a team. We have enough data to make up a plan. But we have to communicate and cooperate. Come here." She took the initiative and took them in front of the screens and computers to search for the data and present it to the team. She spoke from her experience about the time she was still in the Red Room and connected it with the data they have to create the most possible scenario.
