Short story - Reunion (Avengers x OC, Black Widow Focused)

Chapter 10

"Okay, she's probably somewhere here, in this area." Sofia said and stopped the car.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm gonna use my minidrone, it will help us find her in this forest." After a minute the drone was in the air. "Nat, darling, can you drive now? Thanks. Okay, I see a signal around 2 kilometres in the north-east. Let's see what's that."

"I really hope it's her. I have enough of this tracking and searching." Wanda said.

"Yeah, me too."

They found a small wooden house.

"Stop! Don't go closer." Sofia ordered. "We will go on foot there. I'll go first."

They slowly walked to the house with guns in hands. They checked the windows - closed, no back door, no secret entrance.

"Is it clear around?"

"Yes, I think." Cap replied.

"Okay. So front door like normal people or rush through the windows?"

"They are too small to enter through them but we can throw gas grenades."

"No, no, we don't want to scare or hurt her. We have to open the front door." Sofia stepped closer and stood next to the door. Nat was next to her on the left and Steve on the right. Wanda was behind him.

"Yelena!" Sofia knocked at the door. "Open the door! We come in peace!" No answer. "We know you are there! We don't want to hurt you!" Still no answer.

"Steve, we have to force the door. Can you?" She asked him. Cap easily broke them. Nat wanted to enter the building, but Sofia stopped her. "No, I first." They were looking at each other for a moment, then Nat let her go. It was a small house, but filled with many hides. Everyone had to be careful. Sofia heard something on her left, she went through the corridor to the kitchen. Nothing. She heard something again. She went forward and she saw her. Yelena looked almost the same as 10 years ago. The same blond long hair, the same mystery eyes, just like her sister's.

"Long time no see." Sofia said. "Nice to see you again."

"I don't think that pointing a gun on me is a warm way of greeting." Yelena replied, also holding a gun in her hands. "I see you brought friends."

"Yes and there is someone you know." Nat appeared from behind her friend and looked at Yelena ominously.

"Hello, sis."

"Now am I a sister to you, suka?" Yelena replied with anger.

"Ladies, please." Sofia interjected. "Yelena, we don't want to hurt you, lower your gun."

"You first."

"Put your gun before I make you." She said and stepped closer. Their guns almost touched. They were looking at each other, deeply in the eyes. Sofia spotted a familiar bag in the corner of her eye.

Yelena pushed Sofia and rushed on Natasha. She grabbed her and started to fight, but Sofia was trying to stop her. She parted them and pinned Yelena to the wall.

"Jack! Now!" Yelena yelled and wanted to punch Sofia, but she dodged. At the same time a gas started to fill the room. Two women were fighting with each other. Yelena threw Sofia on the wall. She got up, caught Yelena from the back and threw her on the kitchen worktop.

"Stay down! Stay down!" Sofia ordered her, but she didn't listen and punched her with a plate. They both were now standing up and Yelena threw themself on the wall with a window and landed outside. Inside the house the rest of the team were fighting with two men. A man with a man bun jumped and kicked Wanda. Steve wanted to fight with him but a hidden trap immobilised him. The other one, short but fast, was fighting with Natasha. He tried to punch her, but Nat was the one who threw a punch. She didn't miss. She was way better at boxing than him. Wanda lifted the taller man and he landed hard on the floor. After a minute both of them were laying on the floor unable to move. The team went outside. Sofia and Yelena were still fighting but the first one had an advantage. She grabbed a thin rope she had attached to her belt and put it on Yelena's neck the way that they were facing each other. Sofia saw a struggle on Yelena's face. She knelt. She needed air.
