● Chapter - 51

Taehyung stepped out of the bathroom, steam trailing behind him as he dried his damp hair with a towel. A fresh towel hung low around his waist as he made his way to the wardrobe only to pause when he noticed Jungkook standing before the mirror. 

His bunny was inspecting himself with a deep pout, running his hands over his body with a frown. Taehyung didn't need to ask to know what was going on. Suppressing a chuckle, he walked over quietly. 

Jungkook shivered slightly when Taehyung's cool arms encircled his waist from behind, a firm chest pressing against his back. 

"Still not ready?" Taehyung murmured, resting his chin on Jungkook’s bare shoulder and nuzzling into him. 

Jungkook sighed, glancing down at his belly. "How can I be? I feel huge. Everyone’s going to see me with you for the first time, and I look… rounder than ever." 

Taehyung hummed thoughtfully, his fingers gently tracing patterns over Jungkook’s stomach. "Well, that just means our little one is growing well, don’t you think? I think it’s adorable." 

Jungkook peeked at him through the mirror. "Adorable? Tae, I look like a dumpling." 

Taehyung let out a soft chuckle. "And our baby’s going to be just as cute. Don’t you want her to be chubby and healthy?" 

Jungkook’s frown wavered. "Of course I do! They're going to be the prettiest baby ever, just like me," he added with a playful huff, his fingers brushing over his belly with a little more affection now. 

Taehyung grinned, placing a gentle kiss on Jungkook’s temple. "That’s the spirit. intertwining their fingers. "Yes. But don’t worry I’ll be right by your side. You and Hanni always have me always." 

Jungkook felt warmth spread through his chest. Letting out a small breath, he smiled softly. "I know." 

Leaning in, he pressed a gentle kiss against Taehyung’s lips. Taehyung immediately melted into the warmth.

Breaking the kiss Taehyung says "Come on let's get ready." They both started getting ready.

The award function was held in the grand ballroom of ll, a venue that had witnessed countless historic moments but none quite like this. The room was a vision of elegance, bathed in soft golden light that cascaded from glittering chandeliers. Tables draped in crisp white linen were adorned with intricate floral arrangements-white orchids and lilies interspersed with blush roses, symbolizing purity, success, and new beginnings. Each centerpiece was illuminated by delicate candles, casting a warm, ethereal glow across the room.

The stage, the centerpiece of the evening, was set with a backdrop of shimmering gold, reflecting the prestige of the event. A large screen hovered above, displaying the logos of the top five Asian companies in bold. Guests from various industries, dressed in their finest, mingled and exchanged pleasantries, their eyes occasionally drifting towards the stage where the awards awaited their rightful owners. Kim family entered the hall from the back because they'll face the media after the program gets over.

The evening's host, a charismatic and well-known television personality, took to the stage, his presence commanding immediate attention. He wore a tailored tuxedo that mirrored the event's opulence, and his voice resonated through the hall as he began the ceremony. "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most anticipated event of the year, where we celebrate the brilliance, innovation, and leadership of Asia's top five companies."

The audience erupted in applause, a wave of excitement sweeping through the crowd. The host continued, "Tonight, we not only honor these incredible companies but also the visionaries behind them. And now, the moment we've all been waiting for the announcement of the number one company, leading the way in excellence."
