"Mama." I said, walking into my parents room.
"Yes?" She said while laying on my dad and I looked behind me in confusion.
"One second." I held up my finger and went back in the hallway and saw Khalil looking at me. "Bring your ass on!" I snatched his arm.
"No ma'am." He said and we started tussling a bit. I won because he was cross faded so I pulled him into the room.
"Hi." He waved at them.
"Hi...Khalil?" My mama said confused.
"Told you." My daddy chuckled at me, referring to our conversation earlier and I held up my middle finger at him and he did it back.
"Ask." I nudged Khalil. If he asks they'll say yes because they take him asking as it being respectful instead of me asking.
"Oh. Can..." He paused to get his words right and tried his best to keep his composure. If I had to grade him, it would be a C. Not a really good job but passing.
"Can I spend the night?" He asked and my parents exchanged looks.
I don't think they'll say no. Wouldn't be his first time over here on a school night.
"Is he drunk?" My daddy looked at him and squinted his eyes.
Nevermind, he getting a fat ass F.
"Yeah and baked as a pie, onna guys." Khalil nodded and I hit him in his stomach and he groaned in pain.
"I'm calling your mama." My mama shook her head.
"No please. She sleep you know she don't like her sleep being broke." Khalil pleaded.
"You can stay but I'm still calling her." She said, "If he throw up anywhere in my house you and him better get to scrubbing." My mama told me and I nodded.
"Thank you. Love you. Sleep well." I told my parents before we exited their bedroom and walked to mine. Khalil kicked off his shoes and laid down on the bed.
