Three months is a long time when everything goes wrong. And a very short time when everything changes.

After that night people had a lot to say. A lot to wonder. A lot of questions that nobody really had answers to.

People definitely had their assumptions. But the truth is, everything didn't fall apart.

But everything didn't stay the same either. Some things got stronger, some things faded. And some things just changed completely.

Now it was graduation day.

The gym was loud as hell, full of people yelling, laughing, taking pictures like this was the happiest day of their life. Caps everywhere. Gowns dragging. Parents acting like they were the ones graduating.

I stood off to the side with the rest of the graduates, messing with my tassel like I hadn't been doing the same thing for the last ten minutes.

My mind wasn't even on graduation for real. Not completely. It was on everything that happened before this.

Everything that led up to this moment. Everything that changed.

"Yari." I heard my name from behind me from a familiar voice and that caused me to turn around.

And just like that...

Everything people was wondering about? They would've had their answer.

"Hm?" I looked up at the tall figure that was now in front of me because he practically towered over me due to his height.

"Are you nervous?"  He asked me.

"A little bit but not really. I feel like I'm finna throw up but in a good way." I voiced.

Instead of responding he grabbed my hand and held it before interlocking our fingers. Before he could say anything our friends appeared.

"Get a room." Chyna said.

"You get a room." He said and she rolled her eyes.

"Khalil just because you're her boyfriend don't mean shit. I'll tear you up right here, right now." She told him and he laughed nonchalantly.

"Right." He said before turning back to me.

"Guys I'm about to cry." Layla spoke up. "I can't believe we're about to graduate."
