"Just come out." I said softly while knocking on the bathroom door.

Me and Brooke looked at each other and then back at the door cause I could hear crying on the other side.

"Kiyari." Brooke started off. "We love you okay? We're here for you and we want to help. But you have to open the door." She finished.

It was around 8pm and Kiyari was having a breakdown. Lately she's been cold and distant. I figured that it was due to the pain she suffered not too long ago. She doesn't show it much and she puts on a strong face but I know my sister.

"I'm fine." She responded back while sniffing.

"But you're not fine Yari. It's okay if you aren't but you just have to tell somebody what's going on." I said, trying to persuade her to come out.

"I just need a second. Leave me alone please." She told us and I sighed in defeat. We've been trying to get her out of there for almost the last ten minutes.

"What do we do?" I looked over at Brooke because I was out of ideas.

"Go get mama and daddy. Something is wrong with her and I don't trust her by herself while she's like that." She said and I nodded.

We've both stepped away from the door and made our way downstairs. Our parents were outside in the backyard while this was happening.

"Ma!" I yelled as I made my way to the patio door.

"What Taj? Why are you screaming so loud?" My mom looked at me as she sat next to my dad who looked up at me as well.

"It's Kiyari." I started off and their faces frowned. "She locked herself in the bathroom and she won't come out. I think she's having a mental breakdown." I explained to them and they both exchanged looks before getting up from their seats.

The four of us made our way back up the stairs and saw that the door was still closed meaning she was still inside.

"Yari it's mom." She knocked softly on the door. "Can you open the door so we can talk to you."
