Priorities.

I had to check my priorities, my game plan.

I'd prepare myself for school where I'll manage to complete the semester and progressively, I'd get closer to my graduation.

That, was my game plan.

It was solid.

Simple but solid.

We'd picked up all the essential school stuff with Sebastian yet despite being physically ready, I had yet to figure out how I'd do all the catching up.

My hand tightened against my glass drink as the dark thoughts were threatening to corrupt my mind.

I was alright.

Thomas had money, a lot of money. For starters he had enough to own three floors of this huge apartment and treat himself with those shiny watches, rings, chains, etc. I figured that he also had enough money to enroll me into that university with little to no information on my academical background.

He must have enough money to get me a tutor. But to be fair, I'd never build up the courage to ask him for that.

I was already living rent free with him in here, while eating his food and enjoying his luxury. I basically owned him everything and therefore showing signs of ingratitude was a huge no.

I led out a sigh as the heaviness of my worries were starting to exhaust me. I laid my back into the lounging chair a warm wind tingling my skin under my light weighted dress.

I took a slow sip of my piña colada my feet lifting one above the other.

I needed to stop falling into self pity and instead be productive.

One thing was sure, I wouldn't be able to learn it all in 2 weeks, but maybe I didn't need to.

Maybe I could dig myself a short cut. See the matter from outside the box.

I just had to think.

'' There you are. '' A smooth call grabbed my attention making my head veer towards the direction of the sound.

I trailed his tall frame as he walked towards me, his heavy gaze set on me.

I lowered my legs sitting up right on the chair while holding his eyes, a little surprise by his arrival.

Thomas took his time before sitting down in the chair besides mine, his body facing me so that the tips of our feet touched.

His face was set in indifference, his hands moving down to open the buttons of the jacket of his suit before.

'' I spoke with your school. You're aware of when you'll be starting? '' His voice was firm and by the fact that he took the time out of his day to speak to me only meant that what he had to say was important.

I nodded planting my hands to my lap.

'' You got everything you need? '' He listed off his second question as if he had been preparing for it.

I nodded again looking away towards the pool, growing a little fidgety over his sudden attention.

Thomas eyed the side of my head as I felt him sigh threw his nose yet didn't speak his thought out loud shooting his third question.
