The night of the confrontation, Felix and I made our way to the Citadel, our hearts pounding with anticipation and fear. We had planned every detail, but the risks were enormous.
As we approached the grand structure, Felix turned to me, his expression serious. "Are you ready?"
I nodded, my resolve firm. "I'm ready."
We slipped through the shadows, avoiding the guards and making our way to the prince's private chambers. Felix had managed to hack into the security system, giving us a brief window of opportunity.
When we finally reached the prince's chambers, I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. The prince opened it, his eyes widening in surprise as he saw me.
"Ella," he breathed, his voice filled with a mix of wonder and disbelief.
"Your Highness," I said, my voice steady despite the fear coursing through me. "We need to talk."
He stepped aside, letting us in. "What's going on? Why are you here?"
"We don't have much time," Felix said urgently. "The Regime is closing in. We need your help."
Prince August looked at us, his expression torn. "What do you need?"
I stepped forward, my heart pounding. "We need you to see the truth. The Regime is corrupt, and the people are suffering. We need to make a change."
The prince's eyes softened his resolve hardening. "I'll do whatever I can. Let's bring about that change."
