Aarohi and Shravan sat in the hospital entrance, gazing at the moon.
Shravan: So pretty.
Aarohi: Yes, the moon looks so pretty today.
Shravan: I said about you, not the moon.
Aarohi: I know I'm pretty.
He grasped her hands tightly,and she snuggled into his shoulders,feeling like she'd found her soft haven.He rested his cheek on her hair, deepening their tender moment.
Shravan: I've imagined this scene countless times. It feels surreal to be here with you, holding hands, knowing you'll be by my side throughout life.
Aarohi's eyes met his, "Everything is beautiful when I'm with you."
As the moment melted into their love, Aarohi whispered the lyrics softly:
"Aapki nazro ne samjha pyar ke kabil mujhe
Dil ki ai dhadkan thehar ja, mil gayi manjil mujhe
Aapki nazro ne samjha....
Shravan's voice blended with hers:
"Aapki manzil hoon main, meri manzil aap hain
Kyon mai tufan se darun mere sahil aap hain
Koyi tufano se keh de, mil gaya sahil mujhe
Apki nazro ne samjha....
Apki nazro ne samjha...."
He held her hands between his,as his voice led to the melody
"Ye kya baat hai aaj Ki chaandani mein
Ye kya baat hai aaj ki Chaandani mein
Ke ham kho gaye Pyaar ki raagini mein
Ye baahon mein baahen
Ye bahaki nigaahen
Lo aane laga zindagi ka maza
Ye raaten ye mausam nadi Ka kinaara ye chanchal hawa"
Her eyes sparkled as she added her verse:
"Sitaaron ki mehafil
Ne kar ke ishaara
Kaha ab to saara
Jahaan hai tumhaara
Muhabbat javaan ho
Khula aasamaan ho
Kare koi dil aarazu aur ky
Ye raaten ye mausam nadi Ka kinaara ye chanchal hawa..."
A silent breeze touched their skins before getting them to the next verse, their eyes locked.
Their voices synchronized,
"Kasam hai tumhe tum
Agar mujhase ruthe
Kasam hai tumhe tum
Agar mujhase ruthe
Rahe saans jab tak
Ye bandhan na toote
Tumhen dil diya hai
Ye vaada kiya hai sanam main
Tumhaari rahungi sada
Ye vaada kiya hai sanam main
Tumhaari rahungi sada"
Aarohi drifted away,leaning against the pillar behind her.
"Nazdeekiyan badh jaane de," Shravan sang, his voice echoed as she drifted away.
She leaned against the pillar, her voice taking over the melody,
"Are nahi baba nahin Abhi nahin nahin nahin."
Shravan reached behind the pillar,where she stood, and nuzzled her hair, strands dancing across his face as he whispered, "Yeh dooriyan mitt jaane de."
Aarohi turned,taking a few steps away,her voice echoing,
"Are nahi baba nahin Abhi nahin nahin nahin."
She slipped away singing: "Door se hi tum jee bhar ke dekho."
Shravan chased after her,
"Tum hi kaho kaise door se dekhon."
She laughed,Her eyes sparkled as she sang: "Chaand ko jaise dekhta chakor hai."
Finally, he caught her, twirling her around, and she landed in his arms.
"Aye... Ghumsum sa hai, gupchup sa hai Madhosh hai, khamosh hai Yeh sama haan yeh sama kuch aur hai..."
Aarohi turned, her back to Shravan, and took over the verse,
O ho ho chand chupa badal mein Sharma ke meri jaana Seene se lag ja tu Balkha ke meri jaana..."
