Kaci woke up in her matching set of Christmas pajamas that her and Bri bought as soon as December 1st hit. They were Christmas candy land theme, as the two had never had those for their tradition. It's been a tradition since they were born that they sleep in Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve. Now, Kaci awoken by the loud Christmas music playing in the kitchen, kicked off her comforter and got up to do her morning routine.

Bri was in the kitchen, making their hot chocolate pancakes with peppermint whipped cream, when she saw her little sister walk in. Kaci had her hair brushed and face washed.

"Morning, sunshine," laughed Kaci, as her sister finished playing their breakfast, looking awake as ever. "I swear you never wake up this early ever."

"It's Christmas, Kace!" laughed Bri. "Now let's eat, and then we can open gifts."

Kaci laughed, while taking a seat by her sister at their dinner table. One thing about the two, is that Christmas decor still topped the Halloween decor. The inside of their house was a Christmas heaven, with their candyland Christmas theme inside with pastel colors, the sisters really outdid themselves.

After minutes of eating and laughing about the predictions of what their parents got them, the two placed their dishes in the sink for cleaning later. The two booked it to the tree, where they distributed each other's gifts to separate piles near the couch where they could sit.

"Aww, Kaci! Kara got you a gift too. It's a big one," chuckled Bri, handing Kaci a medium box Kaci furrowed her eyebrows, as she wasn't really close to Kara in the first place. She took it in her hands. "Okay, I got my pile. Go ahead, sis."

The two pulled away from the tree, unwrapping gifts as wrapping paper from the gifts were thrown about and completely missing the big trash bag by their coffee table. Kaci couldn't help but open the gift from Kara after opening her parents gifts. The medium box made Kaci curious, as she barely knew Kara at all.

Kaci pulled the red wrapping paper off, revealing a white box in which she used scissors to cut the tape. She was met with the thin white wrapping paper, which she peeled away. She was met with two plushes she remembered were Jellycats, as Kate informed her. And then, there was an ivory colored camera strap, where Kaci's name was embroidered in familiar colorful florals that she has seen before. But then it clicked. These were the same flowers that Kaci got from Kate...the first bouquet she's gotten from her.

Before she separated the box to the others, she spotted a note that probably fell when the box was moved around. She picked up the envelope, opening it discreetly so Bri didn't ask what it was. She opened the envelope to a letter, which words were scribbled onto.

to my Kaci!

This isn't from Kara obviously, but from your Kate. I thought about giving you this gift earlier or even after Christmas, but that defeats the purpose of a Christmas gift right? So I had to make this sneaky. Duh.

I'm honored to gift you your first two Jellycats. Your new babies. This white bunny and rainbow have an amazing girl...I guess I have to share. Then, a strap, not for THAT, but for your camera strap that snapped last month when I accidentally threw the ball at it (I know I didn't throw it and it just ricocheted off the rim but still it's my fault LOL). I know you aren't mad, but I still feel bad.
