Julie and The PhantomsAfter The Orpheum performance, the band decided it was the power of love that brought Luke, Reggie, Alex, and Willie back to life. Soon, they begin attending Los Feliz High School Music Program, the Art Program for Willie, with legal identities thanks to Ray's contacts from his collage days.
After a second run at The Orpheum, opening for 5 Seconds of Summer, they get a meeting with Andi Parker of Destiny Management.
When they meet with Andi, she explains that it isn't just Destiny's management branch that wants to sign Julie and The Phantoms, Destiny Records also wanted to sign them.
When writing their contact, Destiny Inc. added a clause stating that the band take a gap year for recording their first album and a small tour before attending USC majoring in something music related, swaying Ray to encourage his kids to sign with them.
Also written into the contact, they will be given a 3 year album cycle. They are given a 3 month break in between the press tour after releasing an album before going on a year long tour, then another year for writing the next album. They can exceed this album cycle if they so choose, they this is the minimum.
After they graduate, they take a small tour in California before they record their first album.
Their first album, titled Bright Forever, debuted at #3 on the Billboard charts and their first single "Edge Of Great" stood at #1 for 20 weeks, breaking the record for most weeks at #1.
They release their album in the winter of their first year at collage and open for 5 Seconds of Summer immediately after school ends.
Their first Grammy's, the band wins several awards and breaks records for the youngest to win in most of the categories.
Their sophomore album, Live Fast, Die Young, debuted at #2 and smashed sophomore slump expectations.
They began their tour in the US with 35 dates spanning 6 six months with 3 dates in each London and Paris.
Julie and The Phantoms is closing the Live Fast, Die Young Tour with a final night in Paris. Andi predicts the Grammy nominations for the next year should be announced within the next few weeks.
