(No One's POV)
"Don't go out there!" Crash shouted as he saw Geno reaching for the door knob. Stopping, Geno turns his skull in curiosity towards crash. "Why not?" Geno questioned as he glanced between the door knob and crash. "Because I said so!" Crash said as he used his strings to grab Geno's wrist and drag him back to the bed to sit him down. "That's not a very good reason..." Geno mumbled as he adjusted the scarf on his neck.
"I heard that." Crash said as they sent a glare Geno's way who in return pretended not to notice. "Soo, what now? You won't let me leave this room. You aren't planning to have me die of boredom are you? Well- not like I would actually die but y'know what I mean." Geno said as they flopped down on the bed, staring at the ceiling which they noticed had glowing sticky stars.
"Ooh. Hey crash, mind turning off the lights for the moment?" Geno asked as he propped himself halfway up on his elbows to look at crash who looked like they wanted to leave. "Fine." Crash responded before reaching for the light switch and flipping it off. The moment the room went dark, the sticky stars on the ceiling of the room instantly lit up.
Gazing at the ceiling with a grin, Geno moved from his elbow propped position back to flopping back on the bed with a sigh. "I don't think I'll die of boredom now." Geno joked as crash rolled his eye lights at him from across the room. Not that Geno could see that.
After a few more minutes of gazing at the glowing stars, the light suddenly turned back on, earning a 'Hey!' of complaint from geno as he glared at crash who was responsible for turning the light back on. "Just stay still and be quiet while I figure out a way to fix you." crash said as they ignored geno's grumbling. Swiping up a screen, crash looks through the codes for a moment before pausing and then also swiping out a screen to scan geno's soul.
Shifting through results, codes, and data for God knows how long, crash finally stopped and pressed a button before closing the screens. Turning towards Geno, crash rolled his eye lights when he saw that he had fallen asleep. "And you said you would die of boredom..." crash grumbled before going silent when Geno's body started to wildly glitch up.
Just standing there and watching without a word, crash observed as the glitches on geno's body seemed to scatter, combine, seemingly disconnecting and reconnecting itself. After a full hour of watching the process, what was in front of crash was what he assumed exter looked like before he was corrupted. His wings were no longer that black and red color but pure white. His bone color had also reverted back to a pure white bone color. And even his clothes seemed to change back to their original color, it was interesting to see.
However...when the other woke up with a groan, grabbing at their own skull as they sat up, crash finally reacted and asked a question. "So which one are you?" Crash asked as the one in question lifted their skull up, irritation on their face. "What is that supposed to mean?! And what did you do? My skull is pounding!" The other complained as crash continued to stare at them.
"I'm Geno, happy?" Geno said before giving a offended look at crash when he suddenly spewed out profanities and words such as "No, why is he still here?!" or "Go away damnit!". Watching as crash freaked out, Geno rolled his eye lights at him before lifting himself off the bed. Walking over to his phone that was placed on the drawer, Geno turned it on and went to the camera app before having it face himself instead of what was in front of him.
Staring at himself through the phone, Geno went silent for a moment before turning towards crash. "Did you do this?" Geno quietly asked, causing crash to pause from their cursing as they saw the strange look on the others face. "Obviously. Who else would've-" And before crash could continue, he was suddenly being tackled into a hug, causing him to freeze and his mind process to buffer for a moment. When crash finally realized he was being hugged by a happy grinning Geno, he was quick to shriek and teleport away from him.
Seeing that crash had teleported away and was no longer in the room. Geno paused for a moment as he looked around before grinning even wider. "This is going great. I look more normal- well those wings and tear marks are still there but I'm pretty much the same as my old self! I'm still Geno!" Geno said to their self as they cheerfully grinned before heading towards the door.
Going to grab the door knob, Geno stops before looking back up at the ceiling. "Hmm, just for a little while longer." Geno said before moving away from the door and instead flicking off the light switch and flopping back on the bed, humming a tune as they watched the glowing sticky stars above them. Soon, one could barely hear as soft snores left the skeleton that was now sleeping, glowing sticky stars shining brightly above.
