Chapter 15: Lie Again, The Habit that I don't want to do in our Second Life

Third Person's POV

Jihoon and Soonyoung became lovers when they both turned 14. Soonyoung provides for Jihoon while Jihoon on the other hand serves and works at the shrine.

The shrine gained an attraction. He didn't go outside to talk to the followers, he let them give them food and money as an offering to the Flower Crown Martial God.

They both play and make snowballs and snowmen in winter, make music and dances in spring, play with the cold water flowing in the stream every summer, and travel to wherever they want to go in autumn. For them, they must have each other's side. If Jihoon has Soonyoung, Soonyoung also has Jihoon.

While traveling, Jihoon suddenly got sick.

"Do you want to do this, Jihoon-ah?" Soonyoung asks them younger while it coughs.

Soonyoung wants to postpone their leisure for today, going to the seaside of Boundaries.

"Yeah, I want to do it," Jihoon said as he smiled. "It is my dream, right?"

"Are you sure??" Soonyoung asked and Jihoon nodded.

"Yes--" Jihoon was interrupted by his cough.

"But promise me that you will take care of yourself," Soonyoung said as he caressed the younger's hair.

"I will..."

But Jihoon's health declines as the day goes by. Soonyoung doesn't know what he should do. Should he stay with Jihoon and take care of him or should he go out and work so that he could bring Jihoon to a healer.

While he was fanning the fire stove for Jihoon's medicine, he heard a crashing sound that made him panic.

"Jihoon-ah!" Soonyoung was shocked when he saw Jihoon's handkerchief, stained with blood.

"I'm fine..." Jihoon said, ignoring Soonyoung.

"You're fine?! Coughing blood is fine for you?!" Soonyoung said the anger hit the older.

"I'm fine, Soonie..." Jihoon said and smiled at Soonyoung. But his eyes were tired.

Soonyoung decided to tell an elderly that Jihoon was found. He told the elderly that they should tell the authorities about Jihoon's welfare and situation as they gave him the way to go to the shrine where Jihoon stays.

Days later, the authorities started searching for Jihoon.

"Lee Jihoon-ssi?" Jihoon heard a man calling his government name.

Jihoon searches for Soonyoung, he knows that Soonyoung is in the backyard of the shrine and cleaning the plates that they used earlier.

Jihoon stood up and walked away from the main gate, he heard a lot of steps from the authorities. 

"Soonie..." he whispers as he calls Soonyoung but he can't hear him.

He went outside and the cold breeze of winter surprised him, as well as his friends, Jeon Wonwoo and Kim Mingyu, who were both Junior Military Officers at that time.

"Jihoon-ah..." Wonwoo said as his eyes suddenly teared up. "What happened to you?" 

"Hyung..." Mingyu spoke up, "Let's go home..." and offered his hand to Jihoon.
