Even after the small tension in the first day of the castlecoming week with a family drama, the students of the academy were excited to the highest height of the sky.
The princesses even the villain girls were in the high clouds with dresses ideas, partners - it was literal girl disaster. And the boys well they were excited but not on the level as the girls.
Bridget was also excited, a lot excited. It will be her first time to experience Castlecoming with a partner who wanted this moment to be special for his Bridget, it took him almost half of a day to ask her to come with him at the castlecoming since James wasn't really into these romantic gestures.
Somehow it worked with the help of Mal and Hades who in secret made fun of James's sudden character development and how he became a stuttering mess when he tried to ask his lass to come with him at the castlecoming.
It was hilarious, really hilarious for the villain couple. Bridget indeed changed their James to somehow unrecognizable level yet there was still the same villainous pirate but with more kinder heart.
Yet his heart would feel what's like to be jealous and possessive over his love interest.
The days before the actual Castlecoming were moving very slowly like in a class with a slow moving of the arrows of the magical watch, it was infuriating and kept the tension and excitement combined together.
Now everyone had left their classes, James was hanging out with Maleficent and Hades since he hadn't seen them in a while and Bridget even suggested for him to spent time with his villainous friends and cause a small chaos who doesn't include bullying.
His tracks suddenly stopped when he saw some pampered, arrogant prince around HIS Bridget - it made his blood to boil out of the sudden, his eyes to twitch, his only hand to clench in a fist and the hook to shine under the lights of the campus.
Mal and Hades exchanged glances between each other with knowledge look and smug sparks. Hades couldn't keep his tongue under his teeth and the words slipped out in the same taunting, teasing manner who he used to taunt his friends.
"What's the matter, ol captain? Jealous?" James bristled at the word even rolled his eyes, a few grumbles escaping from his lips and glanced back at the direction where Bridget and this prince headed - his gut told him that this little snoop is trying to steal her away from him.
He hated how close that prince is in her personal space, how he talks to her, how he steals her away right under his nose even if they literally date. A feeling of possession and jealousy came inside his body, running down his veins and shaking his head.
He didn't trust this guy, not even a bit but trusted Bridget with his whole heart - she was heavily loyal to him and knew she wouldn't ditch or cheat on him.
Yet his pirate instincts about territory and a threat that someone might take it from his hook made his body to tense and his expression to grew more stoic and cold, even the veins on his neck were pulsing.
"...I will be right back." James announced to his buddies, not caring to show some annoyance to Hades's earlier taunt - instead he headed towards the direction of where his Bridget and that parasite went.
The couple glanced at each other with a bit of dumbfounded expressions yet excitement at the same time. After all it's their first time to see James heavily jealous over a woman, a woman who he dated and not ditched after day or two when he got bored and wanted to change the person.
