It didn't take long for Uliana's expelling to be spread in all academy. Everyone talked about this, the scene literally the whole expelling of Uliana in front of her mates and mostly how James behaved.
No one knew that he was behind all of this since half of the academy thought that James is still working with Uliana after the castlecoming event - it was still some hot topic but it quickly faded when the bombshell about Uliana and her forced leaving of the academy dropped.
Bridget was genuinely surprised and stunned at the same time. Even if Uliana ruined something special for Bridget, her kind heart felt sympathy even if it was her, Uliana wouldn't give two shits what will happen to her.
Ella on the other hand cheered from joy that one of the bullies was out of the picture. The academy could finally have a temporary peace since well it can happen everything and to come someone more worst than Uliana.
And James well he felt his triumph, his lust for revenge served right but his heart longed for her and only her. His mind is always occupied with her, his heart still in despair for her warmth and her soft brown eyes haunted him everywhere.
It took all his will power to not crush in her dormitory, to pour a heartfelt speech even prove to her that he's a changed man, that he wouldn't hurt her ever again.
Yet he waited for the right time, for the time where he can prove himself to her and make her see how changed he is. He still worked on the speech, correcting and adding new lines.
He's pouring his heart in this and he didn't want to read it but to remember it while he stared in her beautiful eyes, begging her to forgive this low scum about his mistake.
James would do anything and literally anything for Bridget to return back in his heart, to feel this same love again and to embrace her and never let go - he lost her once, he couldn't lose her twice.
Speaking of the pink haired princess her state was a bit more well. She's still the same kind hearted and positive Bridget with slow healing heart, but her mind didn't have a rest when she thought about James Hook - the pirate with venom heart who changed for her, made her to feel love and felt free.
Their promise to run away together, to explore the world was in her dreams and made her always cry. Something held her back from trying to fix the things or perhaps to give him a chance to explain himself.
Was the pride in her body? Her friend's reaction if she share that she misses him? Bridget had so many questions and not even a single answer. It was a pain for the princess of Wonderland and a lot dull at the same time - James brought her some new colours in her life but now it's all gone thanks to him and Uliana.
Of course some princes tried to win her heart but at a lost cause. She refused to replace him even if he could do the same, he could win every guy or girl with the snap of his fingers and boom.
But surprisingly he didn't. It even surprised Ella who had heard an conversation between Hades and Maleficent how James didn't leave his dormitory, how he didn't speak nor even let himself to be seduced.
The changes were noticed by a huge half of the academy. James Hook was a changed man thanks to the love story who he experienced and let it slip thanks to the sea witch who probably rot in the sea at some cave and complaining to Ursula even desiring a revenge.
She couldn't harm him even if she could he will gladly take it as long as Bridget's safe and happy. He wasn't tempted to let her go to another man, he hated that thought.
To watch his beloved dove with someone else who wasn't him, that was James's worst nightmare and reality who he refused to accept and even to see to happen.
Bridget meant the world for him, the promise they made well he made for her was still a determination and responsibility who he will do at any cost.
But first he needed to win Bridget back, to show her that he's changed and that he really felt guilty for what had happened. At least he hoped that she will forgive him after she hears the speech at their graduation day who was coming very slowly and agonising that James couldn't wait any longer.
No, James! Patience that's what his mind always repeated as a motivation for him to hold still and wait. He wanted the moment to be perfect, like when he confessed his real feelings for her and not played some role forced by Uliana.
It was a night for the academy and everyone were in their dormitories to take a rest after this long day with huge surprise.
The only one who wasn't in his comfortable mattress was the young pirate James Hook who still worked on the speech but ditched it away and start sketching his beloved again.
Her features warmed his heart even if it was in a paper sketched shape. That's the only thing who kept him sane till the graduation - when it comes he won't care if he steals the spotlight from his fellow villains, Bridget was important too too much important than before.
As for Bridget she was also not in the comfort of her bed, instead she stared out of the window into the sky with beautiful stars and missing his presence.
Even if he had hurt her to pieces, her love for him is still alive but the chains refused to let go and repeated that he didn't deserve her, that he made his choices but Bridget had hopes.
And hopes sometimes become reality or they are just well...hopes.
