Chapter 21

The time was passing very slowly and agonising for James - he didn't have the patient to wait for the graduation but he forced himself to, for some reason he wanted to do it right there in front everyone but mostly to stare at her eyes who wouldn't avoid him there.

Months after months his heart ached when she avoided him like a plague meaning she didn't want anything with him, that was like a sword in his gut who ripped him apart. Barely he knew the reason why she avoided him.

Of course Bridget missed him, she hadn't thrown the photos of themselves in the trash bin. Her heart didn't allow it even if her mind told it with more salty manner - yet she still listened her heart instead of her brain and knew even hoped that maybe just maybe they could be together again. And they will, the fate had prepared the path already.

Finally the months of waiting for the stupid graduation passed. It was the end of the year where every prince, princess, villain graduated their final year in the academy and will go on the path of life as a ruler or cruel monster, it depended.

Bridget did very well this year which might bring her a nice feature if only her parents weren't narcissistic animals, with pleasure she would rule Wonderland with gentle and firm fist at the same time.

But again she was forced to become a queen against her own will after her parents heard about the events, scolded her and forced her even more - these people were more toxic than a snake around someone's neck.

But that wouldn't ruin her graduation day even if they will be present there to see their daughter to speak her graduation speech with the judgment facades and critical eyes.

Everyone in the academy were excited and worn their graduation hats and robes with proud, happy faces including Ella who had changed a lot - she now had a boyfriend, a slow forming nice life, stood up against her stepmother and awful sisters but the only thing that bothered her that Bridget wouldn't find her happily ever after if her parents decide to keep her in Wonderland forever.

These two were heavily close even Ella could notice her friend's heart still wanted him back. Obviously she was dumb to want him back but Ella knew what love is like - she couldn't blame her friend, he had so much potential and Uliana ruined it for one night.

Speaking of Uliana she was a past who wasn't mentioned again, she got what she deserved besides a sea witch like her wouldn't hurt the academy even if she wanted.

The whole academy was now at the courtyard where the ceremony will happen, seats were filled, a chatter filled the fresh air and the sun shined brightly.

The parents of the royalty children, the villain children were there even either to support their kids or either to scold them for their awful speeches - Bridget's parents were there for that obviously.

The chatter suddenly faded when principal Merlin got on the stoned podium and start to speak with bright and proud expression towards his students, how they've changed so much and even at the end of his speech told that there's still hope for the villainous kids to have something good in them.

An applauses came after the principal's speech even cheers from the headmasters and the students who were excited to receive their awards and all at the ceremony.

Every royalty got in order. Their speeches were half good, half bad even some heartfelt but yet Ella's speech filled with confidence, sass and many other emotions humbled her sisters who watched with envy feeling in their eyes but she couldn't care less.
