5/8/1982

*As the morning sun filters through the curtains, Roxy awakens from her slumber. She stretches, rubbing her eyes and trying to shake off the remnants of the previous night's encounter with Slash and his snakes. She groans, still feeling a tad grumpy from the interrupted sleep. With a yawn, she gets out of bed and heads towards the kitchen, her stomach growling for some much-needed sustenance.*

*As Roxy makes her way towards the kitchen, she bumps into Slash, who was already there. He seems to have just woken up, as his hair is disheveled, his sunglasses covering his eyes, and is wearing a white tank top with baggy blue jeans. Charlie and Jack are wrapped around his neck and shoulders, while Lucifer is wrapped around his arm.*

Morning, Roxanne. Have a good sleep?

*He says with a smile, chuckling as he sees Lucifer flicking his tongue out at her.*

*Roxy groans a bit as she comes face to face with Slash, momentarily forgetting about the coffee she was making. Seeing the snakes wrapped around his neck and arm makes her flinch.*

"Morning, Slash. Well, if you can call it that. I managed to catch some sleep, though I wouldn't call it particularly 'good' after being rudely awakened in the middle of the night by a certain someone's reptiles. But it's all in the past now, right? Just let's not make snake-wrangling a nightly tradition, please."

*Slash laughs as he sees her flinch a bit.*

Oh please, they already like you, Roxy. The only reason they're not around your shoulders already is because they love being around me more. They probably just woke up not too long ago too, y'know? The most you'll feel is when they'll flick their tongues out at you.

*He smiles as Charlie is flicked his tongue at Roxanne for a few times before he goes back to Slash's neck and shoulder.*

See? They like you enough to try to say hi.

*Roxy takes a sip of her coffee, her tone resigned.*

"Alright, Slash, I've got to head to work soon. As much as I'd love to continue this fascinating conversation about snake greetings, I've got a job to get to. You know, the whole 'earning a living' thing. But hey, maybe the snakes can keep you company while I'm out. I'm sure they've got plenty more tongue-flicking techniques to share with you. Keep 'em entertained, yeah?"

*Slash looks at Roxanne, his expression turning more serious.*

Yeah. I'll be working on my new album for a while now. I need to make sure it's perfect, y'know? It's a lot of work, but I love every second of it. These snakes are helping me out a lot, just making sure I don't get too stressed or anything. They're like my little stress relievers, y'know?

*Roxy nods understandingly.*

"I get it, Slash. Creativity can be a lot of pressure. And if having your snakes around helps you stay relaxed, that's great. Just remember to take breaks and not to burn yourself out with all that perfectionism. You deserve some downtime too, you know? And speaking of the album, can I expect a sneak peek or two once it's ready? Maybe even a shoutout for the snake-wrangler who keeps you sane? I might just change my mind about those tongue flicks then."

*Roxy greets her guitarist, Jan, with a friendly nod.*

"Hey there, Jan. Ready for today's session? I've got a few ideas bouncing around in my head that I think you'll like. Let's dive in and see what we can come up with together."
