Lyrien's eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief as he replied, "I'm a hybrid, actually. Half werewolf, half witch. And I'm the alpha of my pack."

My eyes widened in surprise. "A hybrid alpha? I've never met one before."

Lyrien chuckled. "I get that a lot. But being a hybrid has its advantages. I've got the strength and speed of a werewolf, combined with the magical abilities of a witch."

I felt a shiver run down my spine as I gazed at Lyrien in awe. "That's incredible. I've never seen anyone like you before."

Lyrien's smile grew wider, his eyes gleaming with pride. "And I've never met a Quadra like you before. You're one of a kind, Miranda."

As we stood there, I could feel the power emanating from Lyrien. He was a true alpha, and I couldn't help but be drawn to him.

"What's it like, being a hybrid alpha?" I asked, curiosity getting the better of me.

Lyrien's expression turned serious. "It's a challenge, but it's also a privilege. I've got a responsibility to protect my pack, and to use my powers for good."

I nodded, feeling a sense of respect for Lyrien. "I know how that feels. As a Quadra, I've got a responsibility to use my powers wisely too."

Lyrien's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze intense. "I think we have more in common than just our powers, Miranda. I think we share a connection that goes deeper than that."

I felt a flutter in my chest as I met Lyrien's gaze. "I think you might be right," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Lyrien took a step closer, his eyes burning with intensity. "I want to explore that connection, Miranda. I want to see where it takes us."

I nodded, my heart pounding in my chest. "I want that too."

Without another word, Lyrien reached out and took my hand, his fingers intertwining with mine. I felt a jolt of electricity run through me, and I knew that our bond was growing stronger by the minute.

As we stood there, hands clasped, I knew that our journey together was just beginning. And I couldn't wait to see what the future held for us.

I led Lyrien to the courtyard, where my friends were waiting. Lucy's eyes widened as she took in Lyrien's towering figure, while Astrid's gaze narrowed slightly, sizing him up. Aston grinned, always eager to meet new people, while Nova's eyes sparkled with curiosity. Xandros, on the other hand, looked like he'd rather be anywhere else.

"Guys, this is Lyrien," I said, trying to sound casual. "My mate."

Lucy's eyes went wide. "Mate?!"

Astrid raised an eyebrow. "As in, the one you're destined to be with?"

I nodded, feeling a blush rise to my cheeks. "That's the one."

Aston grinned. "Welcome to the family, Lyrien!"

Nova bounced up and down. "I'm so excited to meet you! Miranda's told us so much about you."

Xandros just grunted, crossing his arms over his chest.

Lyrien chuckled, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "It's nice to meet you all," he said, his deep voice commanding attention.

As my friends began to pepper Lyrien with questions, I watched with a smile, feeling happy to see them getting along.
