I stood before Aston and Valois, my heart pounding with excitement and a hint of fear. They had taught me everything they knew, and now it was time for the final test.
"The time has come for you to take your place among us," Aston said, his eyes gleaming with pride.
Valois nodded, his fangs bared in a smile. "You must face the Eternal Night," he said.

I steeled myself, knowing what was to come. The ritual was brutal, pushing me to my limits. I was forced to confront my darkest fears to face the shadows within myself.
But I refused to back down, using every trick and skill I had learned to overcome the challenges. I called upon the power of the night, embracing the darkness within myself.
Finally, it was over. I stood before Aston and Valois, my body trembling with exhaustion.
They smiled, their eyes gleaming with pride. "You have done it," Aston said. "You are one of us now."
Valois nodded, his fangs bared in a smile. "Welcome to eternity," he said.
And with that, my training as a vampire was complete. I had entered the shadows and emerged reborn.
The ritual had changed me, transformed me into something new. I had become a creature of the night, an eternal being.
And I knew I would never be the same again.
I know this is a shorter one, but I promise to make the next longer
