Lyrien's face softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he smiled. He brushed a strand of hair behind my ear, his touch sending shivers down my spine.

"I've waited so long for you," he whispered, his voice full of emotion. "I was starting to think I'd never find you."

I felt a pang of sadness, knowing that Lyrien had been searching for me for so long. But it was quickly replaced by happiness, knowing that we'd finally found each other.

"I'm here now," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Lyrien's eyes locked onto mine, his gaze burning with intensity. "Forever," he whispered back.

As we stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, I knew that our bond was unbreakable. We were mates, meant to be together for all eternity.

And as the moon shone down on us, casting a silver glow over the gardens, I knew that our love would last a lifetime.

As we pulled back from our embrace, Lyrien smiled and held out his hand. "I'm Lyrien, by the way. I guess we didn't exactly get off to a formal start."

I laughed and took his hand, feeling a spark of electricity as our palms touched. "I'm Miranda. Nice to meet you, Lyrien."

Lyrien's eyes crinkled at the corners as he smiled. "Nice to meet you too, Miranda. I have to say, I'm loving the way my name sounds on your lips."

I felt a blush rise to my cheeks as I smiled back at him. "I think it sounds pretty good myself."

We stood there for a moment, hands still clasped, enjoying the warmth of each other's gaze.

Then Lyrien spoke up again. "So, Miranda, tell me about yourself. What brings you to these gardens tonight?"

I hesitated for a moment, unsure how much to reveal. But there was something about Lyrien's kind eyes that put me at ease.

"I'm a Quadra," I said finally. "I've been training to control my powers. And you? What about you?"

Lyrien's smile grew wider. "I'm a werewolf. And I think I might be falling for a certain Quadra I just met."
