HARMONY ||"You can stay here for as long as you need," Allison said, gesturing to the couch where Harmony was sitting.
"I'll just be here for tonight. You have a nice home, you must have been here for a while.." Harmony replied, glancing around.
Allison nodded with a smile. "Since 1961."
Harmony returned the smile with a touch of sadness. "That's a long time."
She nods disappearing up the stairs. "It's nice seeing a familiar face again." As Allison walked up the stairs, Harmony was left alone with her thoughts.
She sighed, feeling a pang of guilt in her stomach. Allison had been here much longer than Harmony had been, and she had selfishly stayed with Klaus, not revealing that his siblings might have been out there somewhere. The weight of her choices and the consequences pressed heavily on her as she sat there, lost in contemplation.
She decided to do more research. Leaving a note on the coffee table with Klaus's address, she stepped out the front door. She felt this wasn't the end; Five would eventually return with some horrid news. So, she resolved to search around Dallas one last time.
As she walked through the streets, the bright glow of the lamps illuminated her path. Suddenly, a blue light flashed from an alley. Thinking it was Five, Harmony rushed over, only to freeze in shock. "Did you miss me?" The Handler stood before her, a briefcase in hand.
"Harmony, darling, I know we got off on the wrong foot, but I'm your mother. You're going to have to forgive me."
Harmony shook her head, cautiously stepping back. "I don't have to do anything."
The Handler nodded in agreement. "Of course you don't... not unless you don't want this." She waved the briefcase in the air, knowing Harmony wanted it more than ever. "I sent you back in time to help keep the timeline intact. You failed me. But I'm willing to overlook it all."
"Overlook it? I didn't do anything wrong," Harmony huffed.
The Handler stepped closer, her hand reaching to Harmony's chin. "You did everything wrong, my darling."
Harmony gulped, her mother's words sending chills down her spine.

LILA ||
After escaping the asylum with Diego, his brother brought them to a place at Commerce and Knox. Lila stood in the doorway, watching Diego as he got up from the bed. "You hungry? Elliot made some moldy tuna," she said, her tone casual.
"It's a tuna mold!" Elliot corrected from outside the room.
Diego ignored them both, searching around the room for his shirt. "Where's my shirt?" he muttered.
Lila glanced around, just as confused. "Where do you think you're going?" she asked, her eyes narrowing.
Diego grumbled under his breath, his voice low and determined. "This is all connected to JFK, and my dad's right in the middle of it," he said, holding his pants in one hand as he continued to search.
Lila raised an eyebrow, skepticism written all over her face. "That's why he attacked me last night," Diego continued, convinced he was onto something.
Lila nodded slowly, though she didn't seem entirely convinced. As Diego kept talking, piecing together what he believed to be a conspiracy, Lila's expression changed. Suddenly, she grabbed a wooden broom, her grip tightening as a thought crossed her mind.
"Cause he knows that I'm actually getting closer to—" Diego began, but before he could finish, Lila poked his stab wound with the broom.
Diego Yelled loudly, falling back on the bed. "Yeah, you're in such a fit state to fight. You should probably go right now." She exclaimed, with a sarcastic undertone.
She blinked, her face a mixture of excitement and apology. "What is wrong with you?" Diego exclaimed from the bed looking up at Lila.
Lila frowned, still holding the broom. "You almost got killed last night. Take a day off."
Diego grunted, Lila joining him on the bed. "I can't believe I got shanked by my own father." She rested her head on her hand her arm holding her up. "I know. So rude."
Diego looked at the ceiling his eyes almost teary. "Hey, if it's any consolation, he probably didn't know that you were his son when he shanked you."
"Still... he cheap-shotted me. Man to man, that son of a bitch wouldn't stand a chance," Diego muttered, his voice quiet and soft. Lila looked down at him and tapped his chest lightly. "Of course he wouldn't," she reassured him.
Diego winced as the pain from his wound shot through him. He turned to Lila, a serious expression on his face. "Why were you following me?"
Lila sighed, lying down beside him fully. "I thought you were taking off on me," she shrugged. "Mmm. What people do."
She paused, thinking mostly about Harmony. Her entire life had been spent alone, doing nothing but training. She felt like her sister had betrayed her, and hearing that Harmony had found a life with the Hargreaves in such a short amount of time only deepened her hurt.
"Hey, um... you know, when you were lying there, I... I thought you were dead. That's how I found my parents. Face down in the living room," Lila said, her voice filled with lingering pain.
Diego looked at her more intently, a pang of sympathy surging through him. He sat up to look at her more closely. "It was a home invasion," Lila continued, staring into the distance.
Diego stared at her, feeling a bit sad for her now that he understood why she might have ended up in the asylum in the first place. "Shit. How old were you?" he asked gently.
Lila sighed, avoiding his gaze. "Four," she whispered.
Diego's voice softened with care. "You never talked about that in group."
Lila finally looked over at him, her eyes filled with sadness. "I never talked about that to anyone," she admitted.
