FIVE ||"'Bout time you showed up," Five said facing opposite of Harmony, his voice a bit timid as he read off a piece of paper. Harmony smiled, and even though he couldn't see it, he felt it.
"I could say the same for you," she replied, stepping closer. Noticing the scratches on his neck, she reached up instinctively. "What happened to your neck?"
Five gently pushed her hand away. "It's nothing. How long have you been in Dallas?" he asked, steering the conversation away from himself.
Harmony put her hands behind her back, trying to stay casual. "Not long... I left for San Francisco with Klaus. It's nice over there."
Five hummed, listening as she recounted her adventure. But then his tone shifted, a hint of anger creeping in. "Didn't think to come looking for me?"
A pang of guilt twisted in Harmony's stomach. She shook her head slightly. "I didn't think you'd show up," she admitted quietly.
Five sighs heavily "I always show up."
Lila and Diego walked into the room, unsure if they had just interrupted something. Harmony glanced over at them, offering a small smile before sitting in a chair across from the couch. Five was in the middle of explaining how he had let Vanya go, leaving Diego utterly confused.
"So, you just let her go?" Diego questioned, his voice tinged with disbelief as Lila sat beside him, carefully changing the bandage on his wound.
Five walked behind them, a piece of paper in his hand. "Well, Vanya had a lot to process," he sighed. "She'll come around. I know she will."
Diego looked over at Five, who was pacing back and forth behind him. "What about the guys who went after her?" he asked. Harmony, listening intently, felt a bit left out as no one had mentioned this to her. She glanced at Five, who at the moment was upset with her.
"The Swedes?" Five asked, acknowledging Harmony's presence.
"Yeah. How do you know they won't go after her again?" Diego pressed. Elliot then came around the corner, handing everyone a cup of coffee. Harmony politely declined, while Lila accepted hers with a smile.
"We don't," Five retorted.
Lila, sipping her coffee, chimed in, "Mm, any idea who sent them?" She glanced at Harmony, a mischievous grin playing on her lips. Harmony held back an eye roll, choosing not to engage with her sister's childish behavior. Diego noticed the interaction but decided to let it be.
"Oh, I have my suspicions," Five said, finally picking up a mug from the coffee table and taking a sip. "But right now, our priority is finding Dad and getting answers, because everything else depends on it."
Five sat down in the chair beside Harmony, who was still listening intently while keeping an eye on her sister. "Which, for the record, I already found him," Diego stated.
Five immediately interrupting him, "And let him go before we could have a meaningful conversation."
Diego stared at him for a moment, disbelief in his voice. "He stabbed me."
Five, unfazed, replied, "I'm surprised he waited that long, Diego. We've all had that urge."
Lila and Elliot burst into fits of laughter, Lila reaching out to give Five a high five. Harmony couldn't help but smile at the exchange. Five ignored Lila's gesture and continued, "Good thing I know where Dad's gonna be tonight." He says handing Diego a piece of paper, revealing the location of their father.
Diego grunted as he leaned over to grab the piece of paper, snatching it away from Five. "Where'd you get this?"
Five sighed, "Found it at his office while he was busy stabbing you."
Diego chuckled sarcastically, "Ahh, Hoyt Hillenkoetter and the consulate general of Mexico in Dallas cordially invite you to a gala."
Elliot, who had been quietly observing, finally chimed in. "Woah, wait—Hoyt Hillenkoetter?" He pointed at the paper, waiting for a response but was only met with stares.
"You know him?" Harmony asked.
Lila gasped as she read the invitation. "We should go. It says there's gonna be a seafood tower."
Harmony found it amusing the way Lila kept pretending, her sister's playful antics not lost on her. Meanwhile, Five glanced over at Harmony as Elliot rambled on about Hillenkoetter. Despite his earlier frustration with her, he couldn't help but be drawn to her features, even at the worst possible moment.
She had this uncanny ability to command attention, at least from his perspective, and it frustrated him.
He didn't enjoy being hard on her, but she needed to understand that if she was going to help him figure all of this out, she had to focus on what was important. This wasn't the time to make sure everyone felt seen and okay. That could come later, maybe once they stopped the apocalypse...
He hoped they'd succeed soon so she could finally be as kind and caring as she wanted to be without the weight of the world hanging over her.

HARMONY ||
Harmony managed to find a small dress that fit her perfectly, hugging her form just right. She stood in front of the mirror, her reflection staring back at her as she traced her hands down her body, adjusting the fabric. Suddenly, Five walked into the room, a faint glow of admiration in his eyes as he took in the sight of her.
"You look nice," he said, his voice breaking the silence and startling her. She turned around frantically, only to relax when she realized it was Five. A small, genuine smile crept onto her face as she nodded. "Thank you," she replied, turning back to the mirror, feeling his gaze linger on her for a moment longer.
"You ready? We have to get going," Five urged, his tone serious but with a hint of impatience. Harmony nodded, giving the dress one last glance in the mirror before following him out.
