HARMONY ||

Harmony's nerves tensed as the doorbell rang. Ruffling her clothes, she braced herself, her heart pounding. The last time she'd been here, she was supposed to stay the night. When the door swung open, her eyes widened slightly at the tall figure before her.

"Harmonyyy!"

The familiar voice squealed, pulling her into a tight hug. Harmony chuckled, lightly patting the person's back. "Missed you too, buddy."

"Klaus, who is it?" Allison asked, walking up to the door. Her smile widened as she saw Harmony. "Harmony... where have you been?" Concern laced her tone. Harmony shrugged, offering an apologetic smile. "Come in," she tells her, Harmony stepping inside with her hands in her pockets.

Just as she entered, another familiar voice called out from behind her. Klaus gasped at the sight of the small boy. "Nice to see the both of you... Harmony," he said, delivering her name with a hint of attitude.

Harmony spun around, her eyes narrowing at Five. "What are you doing here?"

Five gave her a sarcastic, confused look, tilting his head slightly. "Am I not allowed to visit my siblings?"

Realizing the implication of her words, Harmony quickly shook her head. "No, I didn't mean that..." She glanced between Klaus, Allison, and Five, feeling the tension rising.

Klaus, sensing the awkwardness, chimed in with a lighthearted tone. "Well, isn't this just one big happy reunion?" He grinned, trying to diffuse the situation.

Allison placed a hand on Harmony's shoulder, giving her a reassuring smile. "It's okay, Harmony."

Five, still watching her closely, softened his gaze slightly. "Just here to gather the family up, that's all," he said, though there was a hint of something else in his tone—something only Harmony could really pick up on.

Five glanced at Allison, his expression hardening a bit. "For what reason? To stop the apocalypse—again," he said dryly, his voice tinged with impatience. "We don't have time for chit-chat or... unresolved family drama."

He shifted his eyes to Harmony for a second, then back to Allison, his tone softening ever so slightly. "We need to get everyone on the same page. And fast."

Allison's confusion only deepened. "Another apocalypse? We barely got through the last one."

Five nodded curtly. "Exactly why we need to act now. There's no time for hesitation."

Harmony, arms crossed, shifted uncomfortably. "And what exactly to you plan on doing?" There was a mix of suspicion in her voice as she glanced in the direction Five was in.

Five shot Harmony a look, then muttered under his breath, "That's why I'm here. We've got enough problems without stirring up more."

He turned back to Allison, already moving toward the door. "We need to do this now, You in?"

Allison and Klaus hesitated for a moment, then nodded firmly. "I'm in."

"Is anyone here?" Klaus called out as he stepped into the building, followed closely by Five, Allison, and Harmony.

The air was thick with tension, the kind that seemed to settle in old places hiding too many secrets. Harmony trailed behind them, her eyes scanning the dimly lit room. The silence was unsettling, but somehow, also expected.

"Helloo?" Allison's voice rang out, her tone impatient but with a hint of uncertainty.

Suddenly, footsteps echoed above them, and they all looked up.

Diego, Vanya, Luther, and Elliot appeared, peering down from the top floor balcony like a group of conspirators who'd been interrupted.

"Le petit mort, le petit mort," Klaus repeated dramatically, throwing his arms up like he was performing for an audience only he could see.

Allison burst into laughter, and Harmony, caught up in their antics, couldn't help but smile too. "What? You don't speak French." Allison giggled.

Klaus, with a wide grin, shook his head. "It means 'the little death,'" he said with mock seriousness.

Allison and Harmony laughed again, their laughter echoing through the empty halls.

Even Harmony, who usually kept to herself, found Klaus and Allison's humor contagious. It was hard not to, especially with Klaus's ridiculous sense of timing. Five, walking ahead of them, glanced back, rolling his eyes with all the grumpy impatience of someone twice his apparent age.

"Can you all be serious for just one minute?" Five grumbled, hands in his pockets as he stomped forward.

Klaus, completely unfazed, looked around the building, his eyes lighting up like a kid in a candy store. "Oh, wow. Look at this old stuff," he said, his voice full of awe.

Just then, they caught sight of their siblings, perched up on the balcony like they'd been waiting for them all along.

"Oh, wow," Klaus repeated, pulling his sunglasses off his face with exaggerated slowness, his eyes squinting as if to get a better look at them.

His usual sarcasm was layered in the words, but there was also a genuine surprise in seeing them all together.

Harmony stood beside Klaus, still quietly smiling, though the subtle tension in her shoulders suggested her thoughts were elsewhere.

Diego's brow furrowed, his intense eyes quickly scanning the group below.

"You took your time," he called out, his voice gruff.

"Yeah, well, some of us were busy actually doing something," Five retorted, his usual dry sarcasm making Allison roll her eyes.

He glanced back at Harmony, who stayed a few steps behind. Her expression was blank, as though her mind was elsewhere, but she felt Five's gaze and quickly snapped out of it.

"I know this is impossible, but... did we all get sexier?" Klaus said softly, his voice carrying up to the balcony as he waved, flashing a mischievous grin.

For a brief moment, there was silence as everyone took it in—the rare sight of the siblings all being in the same room after so many years.

Allison looked up at Vanya, her eyes softening as memories rushed back—of everything they'd been through, everything that had changed.

But all she could feel in this moment was happiness at seeing her only sister again, standing there, alive and smiling. "Vanya," she whispered, almost as if testing the word, making sure it was real.

Vanya, still smiling widely, looked down at them all. Her eyes lingered on Allison before she finally spoke up, her voice light but filled with disbelief.

"I can't believe I have a sister," she said, shaking her head as if she still couldn't quite wrap her mind around it. With a slow exhale, Vanya descended the stairs, her steps deliberate, almost hesitant.

Allison, still staring in disbelief, couldn't help but feel a deep warmth growing in her chest.

It had been so long, and so much had happened, but right now, seeing Vanya in front of her felt like a gift. "I missed you," she said softly, a smile breaking through the disbelief.

Vanya chuckled, a little awkwardly, moving her hands up and down her sides, almost as if she didn't know what to do with them. "Thank God someone did," she said with a playful smirk, though her tone carried a touch of vulnerability.

Diego and Luther, now walking down the other set of stairs, exchanged a look as they watched the interaction. They didn't say anything, but there was a quiet understanding between them.

For all the fighting, all the chaos, moments like this reminded them of what mattered.
