+The Next Day At The Agency+

Davis walked into the agency in the morning and was about to sit at his desk when Nightquakes assistant came over.

"so you found a dead kid?" Nightquakes assistant asked, we'll call her Emily.

Davis nodded before yawning, he got in pretty late last night and wasn't able to sleep because he couldn't shake the image of that kid from his mind. It also brought back the image of the first one he had found back in Monarch City.

"Underoos! Over here with me now"

"Coming" Davis stretched then entered Nightquakes office before closing the door.

"So someone has to notify the family of the kid. Since you called it in, it's your call"

"Id rather do it myself. If you don't mind sir"

"Not at all, get down there sometime today" Nightquake wrote down their address and handed it to Davis. Davis looked at it and entered it on Google Maps then pocketed both his phone and the note.

He flew over to the address and was about to knock on the door when he received a call. He backed up from the doorstep and answered it.

Shino: Hey Davis, you have a minute..?

Shino asked on the other line.

Davis: Oh hey Shino, uhm not really. Kinda in the middle of something. I can call you back as soon as I'm done?
Shino: Yeah. I need to talk to you about something on my mind, if you don't mind
Davis: Of course I don't mind. What are friends for. I'll call you back as soon as I'm done

Davis hung up and continued with what he was doing He wondered what was on Shino's mins for him to be calling but pushed it to the side for the moment.

He knocked and waited for the door to open.

*Knock knock*

Someone opened the door and greeted the hero on their doorstep. "Thalakinetic, to what do I owe the pleasure of having a pro-hero show up on my doorstep"

"Morning Sir. I have some unfortunate news regarding your son"

"Honey?! Check the kids room!"

"Mhmm" Assumingly his wife responded and rapid footsteps were heard.

"You might want to come in."

"If I may inquire. How many kids do you have?"

"Two. Twin boys. One of them went missing recently you see."

"I have news on your missing son"

"Where is he? Where's my baby?" The wife came back into the room with her eyes welling up from the tears.

"I'm afraid he was a victim to a villain. He's gone" Davis said as softly as he could. He was trying his best to be sensitive for the two grieving parents.

"My baby!" The mother cried, collapsing to her knees. The father rushed over to her, trying to comfort her while his own tears rushed down his face.

"My condolences. I'm working on tracking down the villain who did this to bring justice and peace for your family"

"Thank you, Mr. Hero."

"Momma?" Their other kid came downstairs, wondering what all the noises were. "Daddy?"

"Hey buddy. Remember what we said about our dog?"

"You said he went to the city in the sky to live with Grandma"
