real life;
of course she had the option to talk with everyone, but cats were much cuter.
to explanation, when tyla came around taylor's place it was already buzzing with life.
cake was amazing and so were the drinks, but what really caught her attention were the three cats that wouldn't stop following her around."you guys are too cute," she said, patting olivia benson's head while meredith lay in her lap and benjamin chased her finger.
as in approval meredith purred satisfied."i can see they already love you."
"how not? i'm charming, not even cats can resist it," the red head said, looking up at taylor who kneels next to her.
"yes, i can see that. maybe we should be co-parenting. do you enjoy the party so far? i know it's a lot of new impressions, i just hope i didn't overwhelm you."
"you didn't. also, i got three new friends who sooth this out," tyla admitted, referring to her cats.
taylor smiled and took benjamin into her own arms.
"do you have any pets?" taylor asked her.
"i had one when i was younger. it was a hamster, i had one and my siblings had one each. one day my grandma thought mine was dead and threw it in the trash were it then starved to death. but i have two cats now."
"sad hamster story. but i bet my three would love to meet yours. what are their names?"
"so i have a bengal cat, her name is rachel, and a white domestic shorhair cat, his name is larry."
"nooo, that's too cute!"
"you know, this is exactly how i wanna end up. sad and surrounded by loads of cats," tyla admitted.
taylor laughed in response, placing her hand on the woman's shoulder.
