real life;
tyla & gracie

"these are too cute!" tyla said, surrounded by a dozen little puppy's.

after gracie told tyla how much she missed weenie, tyla searched the nearest dog shelter and planned a trip there.

"look ty, this one looks just like weenie," gracie said, taking the puppy onto her arm.

"you miss him really badly, don't you?"

"yes obviously. the only man who hasn't disappointed me. yet."

"i told you, you should turn gay."

"hey, we've dated for three years, that wasn't because you were my best friend."

"yeah, but like, you know?"

"would be embarrassing if i wouldn't."

tyla stuck her tongue out at her jokingly, turning her attention back to the puppies.
gracie stroked the puppy on her arm softly, its fur surprisingly soft. she was already attached, goddammit.she held it up, cradling its tiny body against her chest as she looked at it.

"what do you want to get for lunch, love?" tyla asked her.

"pizza? pizza," gracie said, her attention still on the puppy in her arms. it had fallen asleep, completely content.

"sure."

"and ice-cream after?"

"anything for you," tyla mumbled, before she turned to the counter and slid a check for the shelter over.

"c'mon, let's go," tyla holds her hand for gracie, helping her to get back onto her feet.

gracie stands up as she takes ahold of tyla's hand, a little too quickly, their fingers interlocking like it was second nature.
gracie glanced sideways at their hands, but said nothing as she tightened her grip, not entirely ready to let go yet.
