Imperator Class Star Destroyer, Overseer

The bridge of the Republic Star Cruiser is lit up with scanners and screens, Clone crew members work across the bridge as the fleet of Star Destroyers hovers idly over the planetary city.

A Republic Captain stands at attention facing out the window as a group of V-Wings fly past the bridge in a common patrol.

"Captain, all systems are at optimal conditions, and the shields and reactor are operating at 105% power." A Clone Officer says from one of the bridge ditches.

"Thank you, Commander Volks, any readings on the sensors?" The Human captain says, looking back into the bridge.

"Only civilian and Republic Cruisers, no ships deviating from flight paths anywhere on the planet." The Commander says,

"Hm, good. Keep your eyes on the sensors, I have a gut feeling something is coming..."

"Sir there's a group of unmarked cruisers entering in sector 3-4, look to be armed!"

"Ready cannons, it could be another pirate raid."

"No, these ships are different, larger, more armed." Another bridge officer says as the first of many Munificent-Class Frigates enter the system, followed by a Luckrehulk Class Battleship behind the flotilla of cruisers.

"Launch all starfighters! all power to shields and cannons! Maintain a defensive position and stop any transports from reaching the surface! War is here!"

"RO-24, send your battlegroup to flank that republic flotilla, make sure their new ship cannot significantly damage our fleet. DZ-12, concentrate fighter squadrons on their defense corvettes so our transports may attack the city." A Super Tactical droid orders aboard the Luckrehulks bridge as thousands of Vulture droids, Tri-Fighters, and Hyena Bombers fly out of hangars and off the hull.

V-Wings and Tri Fighters flash in between the two fleets as turbolasers exchange across the fight, a munificent being cracked in half by a barrage of heavy turbolasers.

"Fire all ion cannons on that Providence, and disable its shields so our turbolasers can deal damage!" Cruz orders as a red turbolaser directly impacts next to the bridge, causing the blue aura of the shield to splash around the hull.

"Transports coming in from Sector 5-2!" A sensors officer says as a group of Hardcell Transports enter the system, dashing towards the planet.

"Send a squadron of Y-Wings to disable them, quick! If enemy infantry even make landfall we might as well surrender!" Cruz orders as one Hardcell is destroyed by a heavy gunship.

"Captain, what is the situation?" The hologram of Palpatine and Captain Tarkin appears, shimmering from a barrage of lasers impacting the antenna

"Chancellor, the Separatists have launched an attack on Coruscant, hundreds of Munificents, and a few capital ships have exited hyperspace, we are doing whatever we can up here but land units may make landfall." Cruz says. "We need reinforcement."

"Hm, communications are down, it will take time to send a message to the Open Circle fleet. we will send whatever Acclimators and Venators we have landed down here to help your blockade, just hold off and fight." Tarkin says, closing the hologram.

"Sir?" A Clone officer questions.

"All we can do is fight, if this ship falls, then we move to the next, then the next, until we're out of ships. If Coruscant falls, the Republic falls."
