Venator-Class Star Destroyer, Liberation

A group of Z-95 Headhunters patrol outside of the fleet of Rebel ships, headed by a Venator and supported by one Twinblade Frigate, modified from a Dreadnought-Class Heavy Cruiser along a Bulk Cruiser, outfitted with a hangar.

"Tempest Two, Tempest Three, report." A fighter commander orders.

"Nothing out here sir, just civilian transports and nothingness. Saw a few Purgill in sector 72-20 though, could note that." One of the pilots says.

"Affirmative, keep on regular course and report anything of note."

"Copy."

"Captain, we've gotten reports from our source in Kuat, they've made a few prototype squadrons of what they call A-Wings, they are currently over Correlia and have been made easy to steal, and the Lancer could use some fighter replenishment." An officer reports to Shack aboard the Venator's sole bridge, the second still missing.

"Launch a group of transports disguised as freighters to that dock, get someone to pilot every ship. We need to take every chance we can get." Shack orders.

"Yes, sir."

"Tempest Squadron, you are to return to the Liberation for a briefing at Oh-two-hundred, it's important, so be there." The fighter commander orders, the pairs of Headhunters flying back into the now opened ship-length hangar, landing as the hangar closes.

"Wonder what the surprise briefing is, could be another rescue mission?" One of the pilots says, exiting his cockpit.

"Probably just another shipyard strike, we've been doing a lot of those harassments lately." The other says, taking his helmet off and placing it under his arm, walking to the briefing area at the center hangar.

"Tempest Two, Tempest Three, good to have you." The fighter commander says, a trio of Z-95s entering the lower hangar.

The rest of the pilots enter the circle, surrounding a hologram console in the center, sitting on makeshift seats or just on crates.

"Pilots, this is a much more important mission than what has been the regular over the past few months," The officer says, opening a hologram of northern Correlia. "The Empire has a prototype squadron of fighters in a low-security hangar over Correlia. We need these fighters for future strikes and defense missions. You, are going to get to that dockyard from inside of a transport ship, infantry will knock out the guards, you will steal the fighters, we all go home with a squadron of fighters. Any Questions?"

"Do they have any orbital defenses after we've stolen them?" Tempest Leader asks.

"No, they will not have any fighters with good enough response time to intercept you, this grab and go is easy, and quick."

"Then let's go and steal some fighters." Tempest 3 says enthusiastically.
