Kuat
One year later
A fleet of Venator-Class Star Destroyers slowly fire their engines toward the planetary ring shipyard, a Lambda-Class shuttle exiting the side hangar, headed toward a larger shipyard outside of the Victory-Class shipbuilding areas.
It enters a hangar bordering a closed-off dockyard, inside of a hanger filled with Stormtroopers and Imperial officers.
The shuttle lands, steam expelling out of the exit, revealing the imposing black stature of Darth Vader, Second in command to the Emperor, followed by Admiral Cruz and a group of his command officers.
The group of men walks past the brigade of Stormtroopers, entering a small command bridge inside of the shipyard, revealing a near-complete first-of-the-line Imperial Class Star Destroyer, the last hull plates being attached at the moment they walk in.
"Lord Vader, Admiral Cruz, Welcome to Kuat." The base commander welcomes them into the bridge, overviewing the construction.
The doors in front of the Star Destroyer begin to open to the vacuum of space, excess oxygen inside of the dock expelling as the last plate is welded on by a droid, sealing the ship.
"Admiral, I'm sure you recognize the design aspects, this is a new version, made far more powerful in every way than the Imperator you commanded before Coruscant. Much of the aspects are the same and I'm sure it will serve as a prime fleet flagship." The officer says.
A group of Imperial tug ships tractor the ship out of the dock, revealing the durasteel plates to the sun for the first time in its lifetime.
"Lord Vader, a second Star Destroyer with more aspects on the guns and engines is in production in bay two, but it will take at most another week, we hope the general design is appealing to you for a command ship."
"It will be. Fear is the greatest asset to our growing Empire, and this new line of ships shall ferment us in a new era of galactic history, one where all people are united by one cause, the Empire." Moff Tarkin says, entering the room to see the ion engines burst open, now running on its own power.
"Moff Tarkin, I wasn't expecting you to be here for the unveiling," Cruz says.
"Of course, I will always be present for the launch of my own design, and of course, my own ship is also in production here too. Now, Admiral. What shall you name your new Command ship?" Tarkin asks, glancing at the Admiral.
"I believe i shall call it the Blade, it is a fitting name for the sharp edged city sized ship of the Empire."
"I like it. It shall fit the Empire well." Tarkin says.
