AN: I know I messed up this is after Halloween in the books but oh well I can't change it now Xx

You wake up to Hermione gently shaking you, her expression full of concern.

"Eveline, wake up! It's almost time for the match. Are you okay? You were tossing and turning in your sleep," she says softly, her voice filled with worry.

You blink a few times, trying to shake off the lingering grogginess of sleep. "Yeah, I'm fine," you reply quickly, not wanting to dwell on your restless night. "Just had a weird dream. Nothing to worry about."

Hermione nods, but her worry doesn't completely fade. She shifts into her usual no-nonsense mode, though, as she says, "Alright, well, get dressed quickly. We're already late, and I promised Harry I'd see him off!"

You hop out of bed and start throwing on your clothes, still feeling a bit dazed. "How's Harry feeling about his first match?" you ask, trying to change the subject. "I still can't believe he's a Seeker, and it's only his first year playing, let alone knowing about Quidditch."

"He's nervous but excited," Hermione says, tossing you your Gryffindor scarf. "He's been up and down all morning. One minute he's ready to go, and the next he's worrying about letting the team down. But I've seen him practice, and he's really good. You wouldn't think he'd never even heard of Quidditch until a few months ago. It's still so strange to me, this whole flying-on-broomsticks thing. Coming from a Muggle family, it's all very... well, weird, honestly."

You laugh as you both hurry out of the dormitory and make your way through the bustling corridors. "Yeah, I guess it would be a bit of a shock if you're not used to it. But trust me, you'll get the hang of it. Soon you'll be cheering louder than anyone else."

Hermione gives you a wry smile as you push through the crowds. "Well this is the one thing that I can't learn about solely from books!"

As you step out into the crisp autumn air and head toward the pitch, the excitement is contagious. Ron and Dean walk up to you guys as you're talking, Hermione visibly getting shyer which you thought was odd. The pair seemed to be in a heated discussion and Dean decided to get you involved

"Hey Eveline you'd know! Ron here thinks that Football is stupid and doesn't understand that it's just as interesting-and hard as quidditch" Dean protested

"Honestly I don't understand how you two find a game with one ball and no flying interesting it sounds like a bloody snore fest to me" Ron grumbled

"No Deans right Footballs great once you get into it" you say casually

"Ugh muggle sport" he complained

The stands are already packed with students, and the roar of the crowd echoes across the grounds. You can see Parvati and Lavender waving at you from a few rows up, their faces painted with red and gold stripes.

"There you guys are!" Parvati calls out as you approach. "We were worried you'd miss the start!"

Lavender grins, adjusting her Gryffindor hat. "Can you believe it's Harry's first match as Seeker? He's going to be brilliant, I just know it!"

You nod, your own excitement building. "Yeah, it's going to be great. Oh there's my brother!" you shout as you spot Oliver flying out onto the field with the rest of the Gryffindor team.

Parvati and Lavender cheer loudly, jumping up and down. "Look at him go!" Parvati says, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "He's amazing, Ev!"

Lavender nudges you playfully. "Why didn't you tell us your brother was so cute? He's like a Quidditch star or something!"
