Ana

Today is Saturday, my entire week has been relatively calm compared to others. I spent a lot of time in the gym and was finally able to finish my new book by Celen Hover. It was a pleasant week.

Raphael and I didn't see each other these days because he was busy at work.

However, he suddenly called me on Wednesday evening as I was cooking my meal for the next day. The first time I saw his name pop up on my screen, I got so freaking nervous that I jumped around my apartment excitedly before answering his call calmly.

"Hey." I answered the call, my voice sounding a bit higher than usual as I could feel the excitement throughout my body.

"Hey, Ana." I heard his deep voice on the other line. My heart's pumping fast in my chest. "What are you doing?" he asked, sounding laid-back and chill.

"Um, I am preparing food for tomorrow right now. Just got back from grocery shopping actually. So nothing special. What about you?"

But the line kept silent. I waited a few moments before I tried it once again. "Raphael?" Did he hang up?

As if nothing happened, he answered my question. "Not much, just chilling at home." Alright, so he is at home, alone and doing nothing – then he decided to randomly call me to talk? I don't know about other girls, but I'm having a mad girly moment right now.

"What are you making?" he asked further. I'm kind of surprised but also flattered that he is looking for a topic to start a conversation with me. Raphael - the least talkactive man I know. I felt this tingling feeling in my stomach.

"It's called Paella-Arrabbiata. That's a funny story. My grandma wanted to try Penne Arrabbiata for the first time but remembered the recipe incorrectly. Instead of noodles, she accidentally used rice. In the end the dish tasted like Paella. Hence the name." I told Raphael about my grandma's mistaken cooking accident and giggled. Me and my mother still laugh about it from time to time.

As my giggling died down, I heard a rough noise from Raphael, as if he was exhaling air. Is he grinning?

Again this noise, but additional to that, I heard a deep tone erupting his mouth. Yes, he is definitely grinning. A warm sensation flooded through me at the thought that I made him laugh.

"Has anyone ever told you that you have a nice talking voice on the phone?" Raphael suddenly said, silencing me at the same time. I felt my cheeks blush from his compliment, having the urge to scream like a little girl because of the excitement that rushes through me.

And just like that we talked on the phone continuously for the rest of the night. Even though I would have loved to see him, just the sound of his voice made my body and mind go crazy. He is handsome and he sounds handsome.

Later the night he suddenly caught my attention. "Do you have any plans on Saturday?" he asked. I felt butterflies in my stomach at the thought of spending time with him.

No I have not!

But I stayed cool.

"I don't think so." I replied in a calm voice. "And you?" I asked back, curious about what he has in mind.

"No." came from him.

Okay, that's it? Just no?

"The weather should be good. We could go to the lake Mondsee." he suggested and my heart skipped a beat.

'We' could go to Mondsee. He wants to spend his Saturday with me. This warmth spread inside me again and consumes me completely.

"By my motorcycle." he added shortly.

With the motorcycle??

The more I thought about it, the more excited I became. Firstly, I would be able to sit at his back and hold on to him for the whole journey, feeling his strong body on mine in an pretending innocent way, and secondly, there would be no risk of being seen by people we might know.

I didn't think about it for long. "Yeah, sounds like a plan!" I accepted his invitation euphorically. I heard him smile on the other end of the line. He knew he had hit the jackpot with this idea.

It wasn't until 2:00 a.m. that we ended our phone call. We knew the lack of sleep would hurt tomorrow at work, but we accepted our fate willingly.

We agreed to meet in front of my apartment at 10:00 a.m. today. He wanted to pick me up on his motorcycle straight away to start our trip together from my place. I was excited. But I didn't know whether it was because of the long motorcycle ride or because of Raphael himself. We would spend a whole day together. This was a first. Is this considered as a date today?

Sure we've met alone a few times before, but never on purpose. Today felt different than usual. I paid particular more attention to my appearance than I normally would do. I chose my tight black leather pants with a matching dark crop top. Since I didn't have a proper motorcycle jacket, I put on my leather jacket, which had some padding on the inside. Raphael said that would be okay.

I tied my hair back into a low ponytail, otherwise it would get completely matted by the wind. I wanted to avoid that. Additional to that, I applied make-up very discreetly since I'll be wearing a helmet most of the time anyway.

Shortly before 10:00 a.m. I made my way outside. I grabbed my belongings with me and stuffed them into my bag. That was the time when I suddenly heard the loud roaring noises outside my apartment.

He is here.

With a pumping heart I closed the door behind me and stepped outside into the driveway where he was already waiting for me. As always, he wore black pants and a black shirt. In his hand he was holding his leather jacket, which he probably only wore while driving because it could get pretty warm even in the morning.

His motorcycle was standing next to him in all its glory. What a machine. I didn't even know where to look at, at the machine on the right with the beautiful shiny black paint or at the machine on the left with the dark eyes that were literally piercing me, caging me in his aura.

"Hey, Raphael." I greeted him in a sweet voice. I am feeling happy to see him and to spend the day with him.

"Hey." came from him as he casually walked towards me and put an arm around me. He had to lower himself as he placed a quick sweet kiss on my lips. I am melting. It's not like Raphael and I were all too deep into it yet or that we'd seen each other so often that a kiss was already normal between us, but he did it anyway. He just gave me a kiss. In the middle of my driveway. On Saturday morning. Just like that.

Unlike him, I would probably think way too much before taking such a step. He doesn't think about it much, he just does the things he wants to do. My heartbeat is going crazy.

"You look good." he complimented me as his eyes roamed up and down my figure. I blushed slightly, hoping my makeup could hide the fact how sheepish he makes me feel. "I've never seen you all in black before." he stated, took me by my waist and pulled me towards him. I gasped, a feeling of excitement rushing through me, caused by his movement and sudden closeness. The way he touches me sends prickling down my core.

"There's a first time for everything." I replied grinningly.

He pressed another quick kiss to my lips before turning around and picking up a helmet that was hanging on the handlebars of his motorcycle. "This one's for you. I hope it fits." he said and handed me one of his helmets. I slipped it on and Raphael helped me close the clasp on my lower chin. When he was done, he looked at me through my visor and winked before grabbing his helmet as well.

"You know what you have to do?" he asked.

He probably meant where I have to put my legs and arms while driving and that I had to adapt to his movements, especially on winding roads. I already knew all of these things from my father.

"You mean sitting still and looking hot?" I joked.

He liked that I was in such a good mood because I could see the beginnings of a smile through his open visor. "No doubt about that." he said amused.

He gave me a slap on my ass. "Come on then." He winked. He was also in a particularly good mood today.
